More needles than I can even start to describe, and a like of other great crafting materials. The store is light and airy, the prices are good and the online shop is fantastic. Giorgio Manasseri: This is such a beautiful store! They carry various things for fibre art such as yarn, fabrics, etc… What was most fascinating was all the unique hand dyed yarn available, most yarn stores usually don’t carry a lot of this type of yarn but in this store the majority of it was. The environment is also very calming and peaceful. The staff were kind and insightful as well. We walked out with three crochet pattern books but will definitely come back!! If you do knitting, crochet, quilting, or sewing definitely go and give this place a visit 💕

Wendy Goodman: I recently came across Maker Savvy as I started a new job a few stores down. Today I went in at my lunch break to buy solid 100% cotton. I found the person who served me to be very nice and helpful. She gave me a great tip of serging the ends of my fabric before I pre-wash to avoid fraying. I also loved how the fabrics I bought was a very reasonable price at $12.50 to $14.50 a meter. Will definitely be returning for future projects!

Plus Babyloc sewing machines, yarn and knitting supplies, embroidery supplies, plus every kind of sewing notion, thread, zippers... Plus you will receive excellent customer service and advice on finding exactly what you need. The store itself is hard to find but is on the main floor of the office building right on the corner. Look for the #260 sign from the road, head into the building and look for the closed door with the sign. See photo for limited hours of operation. I bought pretty teal fabric plus a fabric bundle and made some cute hats!!

Sandra M: ETA I went recently and purchased some care bear fabric and it is lovely, just has a really nice feel to it, good quality and washes very well. Staff were very nice.ETA I met with the owner, she was very receptive to my concerns. Apparently the lack of street signage is a landlord issue so can't be helped. She said she will look into changing her set up so that customers won't inadvertently be in the shot, she also told me that filming is done on Thursdays so I can avoid going to the store on Thursdays. Based on her willingness to discuss the issues and, alter the set up, I will give them another try.First off this place is ridiculously hard to find, even my GPS was confused. It's in the back of an office building, no street signage, no disabled parking, no directions once inside the building, you just have to walk around until you come upon a closed door, not very welcoming. I honestly wasn't sure if I was supposed to walk in, knock or if this store was even open to the public.There is signage requesting customers to wear masks, no problem, except for when I got inside there was a staff member filming a fb live without a mask on. Which leads me to my next issue, it is extremely unprofessional to film in the middle of your shop during opening hours while you have customers! I felt very uncomfortable, I didn't want to be in the shot but needed some items. If gas wasn't so expensive I would have left. I can't remember feeling so uncomfortable in a store in a long time. The only reason this got 2 stars is because the lady that served me was knowledgeable and friendly.
