We put a top and bottom on hold and chatted about mental health/addictions somehow. Tomorrow, I'll go back and pick up something!

I made myself an appointment on their website - super easy.The store itself is small, and they only have a few items for display while most of their stock is in the back. I only mention this because if you're hoping to browse, this might not be the place for you.Despite this, it really did not take away from my experience. I was seen by Ozlem, and she was so nice! She asked me what I was looking for, and was able to show me a couple of options with what I asked for.I tried them on, and Ozlem encouraged me to sit in them for a bit to make sure they were comfortable which I appreciated since it can be tricky to know for sure if something is going to be comfy later on. There was a bra that I liked that wasn't in stock in my size, but she let me know she would call when more arrived.I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. I was a bit nervous going in at first, being plus size I was a bit self-conscious about my body, but Ozlem was just so professional and kind, that quickly just disappeared.I ended up buying just one bra, and when checking out they let me know how to wash and care for it, and that it would be final sale.Overall, I would recommend giving them a visit, but of course, make yourself an appointment to make sure they can see you. I will 100% be coming back when I can!

Emma Mitchell: I can't recommend this boutique enough! Shop Tallow has quickly become my favourite boutique in Ottawa. I came for the bathing-suits and stayed for the clothes. I love the brands they carry. So many unique and hard to find brands. I'm particularly in love with the brand Spell and the Gypsy Collective which Tallow is the only place I know carries them. The environment is so welcoming, it feels like I'm trying on clothes with friends. The staff is amazing, the manager Jasmine always goes above and beyond to find me the best outfits. I always leave feeling like a million bucks! Every piece I've bought from Tallow has become a favourite of mine. The shop girls are also very kind and wonderful and always make me feel like a celebrity when I shop there. I have never had a negative experience at Tallow and I always look forward to my next visit.
