Most of the negative comments focused on wait times and other administrative issues at the clinic. While I also experienced some long waits, my comments focus on the cataract surgery itself that was performed some three weeks ago by Dr. Adil Bhatti. Dr. Bhatti is switched on, very intelligent and extremely skillful at his work. The results of the surgery have exceeded my expectations. He clearly has a great set of hands and I will do my utmost to make sure it's he who performs the surgery on my second eye. He is also concise and a very busy guy so don't expect him to dwell unnecessarily to discuss the Ottawa weather with you. I should also give a shout out to the nursing staff who prep patients for surgery. They are very professional and skilled at reassuring patients who will be undergoing eye surgery for the first time.

Kevan Burrows: I want to share an exceptional vision care experience that began in 2019. Dr Adil Bhatti at iCare was my Opthalmologist responsible for my cataract lens replacement surgery. I have always been very short sighted and had corrective refractive laser surgery in 1993, which gave partial success but my vision was too short sighted for perfection. Fast forward to 2019, Dr Bhatti needed to use his own knowledge and expertise to incorporate my previous surgery implications into the measurements for my lens replacement. Furthermore, due to impending retirement and travel plans, he has to perform surgery on BOTH eyes at same time. This was extremely challenging circumstances and I’m pleased to report, 5 years on I’m still enjoying excellent vision, no need for any glasses, even for reading. The aftercare support from all at iCare is exceptional and very thorough. Yes, check ups take a couple of hours, but this is our vision we’re talking about. You have to look after your eyes. I for one, appreciate all the attention and testing. Thank you iCare and a HUGE THANKS to Dr Bhatti - a very talented Opthalmologist indeed.

Not only does she flawlessly manage skin conditions like a maestro conducting a symphony, she also delivers punchy one-liners that could rival any stand-up comedian. I went in for a mole check and left with a six-pack from laughing so hard. I'm convinced my laugh lines have deepened, but worry not, I trust she's got a cream or a filler for that.
