houryarch: I have hired Paul many times over the last 5 years and I am always excited to see how cleverly he captures my Architectural projects. It's an artform creating art from someone else's creation. Paul is a genius at that. On every project assignment he overdelivers. And since that is what we strive for, we get on so well indeed! His pedigree alone is enough to convince anyone, including the roster of icons he has both worked for and photographed all over the world. Some photographers are Niche. The rest are Paul. Steph Legari: I was blessed to have Paul Couvrette share his expertise and incredible skillset in the art of photography for my daughter's wedding. I also noticed that he not only chose the best locations to truly capture the beauty of the day but brought an assistant to carry some of his gear which included a wind machine. Yes, a wind machine. This provided added flair with blowing leaves around and creating a very special feel to his photographs. He moved from one location to another then another then another to make the collection of photographs exciting and truly memorable. He encouraged us to be natural, not posed which we truly appreciated. When we received the photographs they were the envy of many guests who chose others to capture their special day but came short of what we received.My son is now engaged to be married and we have already spoken to Mr. Couvrette about the wedding and was assured that he would be pleased to capture this day in full detail and I trust no one else to do this. It started with a last minute change of location due to the weather and Paul quickly pivoting to find the best spots for our photoshoot in a new environment. They also gave me ALL of my digital photos, no questions asked, and when I asked if they do photos with pets and the price of it, Alan said "just stop by with her one day, I am not going to charge you extra for a picture with your dog." Overall, the best experience ever. I know realize that there are photographers and there are artists, and Alan & Anne-Marie were the artists.

Anne-Marie did an excellent job editing my photos and making my hair look perfect in every shot.The final photos are not overly edited or lit overdramatically. They give a clear picture of who you are and who you can become as an actor.Over the course of the session, you get a sense of who Alan Dean and Anne-Marie are, and of the passion they put into their crafts. Thomas Huet: and my wedding vows were temporarily interrupted as my spouse, family and I rushed to secure the flowers, chairs, and breakables from ruin, Derrick perfectly balanced the conflicting tasks of helping bring things inside while capturing the chaos that surrounded him in a way that turned what could have been an awful memory and experience into some of my most cherished photos of the event. He injected humour and grace into the scenes, capturing shots of my mom leaning against the wind as she carried in flowers, her scarf billowing behind her. He captured my dad's bemused reaction to his hair standing on end, as we laughed about the unexpected insanity. And he even captured shots of Andrew and the venue staff valiantly bracing themselves against the wind, desperately holding umbrellas over the video equipment, surviving video cameras, and computers to protect them and ensure the livestream could later continue with at least one of the camera angles when the ceremony resumed.After a harrowing but truly special and memorable event, the crowning achievement for Derrick was his amazing couple's photography and eye for beautiful details as we made use of the golden hour to walk the streets of downtown Ottawa by the Rideau Centre and Rideau Canal to capture some truly amazing wedding photos. We gave Derrick full creative freedom and license to experiment and capture the photos as he saw fit
