Jim Edmonds: Great experience, right from the get go I was introduced to Lisa Hale who was extremely calming and gathering all the information required, then introduced to Dr McGuire, what an experience, he spent the time to gather all of the information describe the procedure which left me with a very confident feeling that I came to the right place.Next was the day of the procedure, quiet an experience, I was taken in on time met with the nurse who determined all of my details, inserted the IV and the next thing you know I am getting up from the recover chair.I could not have experienced a better procedure and extend my thanks to all involved, extremely professional.

Kat Nik: I got 3 wisdom teeth removed and was so scared leading up because of my fear of needles and just the idea that they will knock me out. I, at 20 years old, brought my stuffed bunny with me and was embarrassed I brought it but the nursing staff were so accepting and even asked if it had a name, it made me feel okay that I brought something to help me out. Even when I woke up from the surgery, the bunny was propped up on my lap in the recovery room. The needles were scary but the nurse put a numbing spray on for me and was super quick and gentle with it, she even explained all the medication she is giving me. As for Dr. Irvin, he is so great. He kindly explained the procedure during the consultation and yet again before the procedure. The whole staff treats you as a friend first, patient second which I really appreciated. They took the time to get to know me and what I am doing after to spend the time.

Giancarla McOrmond: I had a tooth removed by Dr. Adam Irvine at the Barrhaven location fo Argyle Associstes Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery office. He explained the procedure and gave me different options before removing my tooth. Because it was a complicated procedure I was given I.V. Sedation. I felt no pain once the anaesthesia wore off. This is my second day, and still feel no pain. Everything was on time and I felt very comfortable . Plenty of free parking and easy to get to the location. I highly recommend Dr. Irving and his staff.

Lauren Kennedy: As much as I dread the dentist in general, I love going to Dr. Rizk’s office! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I had a bit of a tooth issue a few years back that caused me a lot of concern, and Dr. Rizk took great care with it, giving me lots of options and always open to seeing me when I felt something wasn’t just right. Big shout out to my regular hygienist Rose for her kindness and positive attitude.
Phil Dillon: Very friendly staff and the appointment started right on time. Dr. Rizk is a very professional and experienced dentist.

Jessica King: I had an amazing experience with Kanata Oral Surgery today for a complicated tooth extraction under IV sedation. They made me feel comfortable and welcomed from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. Receptionist was kind, the nurse was amazing and IV insertion was painless, she was attentive to my health issues and explained the entire process. Dr. V was so kind and knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. Next thing I knew the procedure was over and I was being woken up by the nurse! Felt back to myself after an hour. So far I’ve felt minimal pain or discomfort.Would highly recommend this clinic. I am extremely anxious with any kind of dental procedure but had no reason to fear coming here!

Prior to my appointment, I called and asked questions to a nurse because I was nervous as this would be my first surgery ever and I have a high level of anxiety about the dentist in general. I asked a few questions but it felt a bit like the nurse didn’t have time to answer them. That’s fair, I figured I could ask my remaining questions the day of as I was told I was going in for the consultation and then, if everything seemed good, would have the surgery on the same day. However, on the day of when I was brought into the back, I was immediately hooked up to the IV by the nurse with no discussion about the procedure or my medical history

I know hygienists that charge more for less. Not only have they been quick to get me in and seen, but they have always done a great job. Dr. Ashkar is who I see, and he's always been very professional yet easygoing, and he does a very good job as I have no issues during or after any procedure. He has seen my daughter also, and she was very comfortable and now loves the dentist and wants to return. Call them! You won't regret it. Lots of parking. Convenient location. Front desk staff is super friendly too.
