Dawn: It was too ‘tornado-wy’ windy for the the boat to get to Richmond Landing where I wanted to get to from Gatineau but I got some great views nonetheless on the short trip to the Rideau Locks. It was a longer walk than originally planned to Lebreton Flats. Lol

The very memorable experience began with a very informative and friendly young guy at the ticket booth above the canal.He and our tour guide, Dawson, were obviously interested in history, and how it pertains to Ottawa. Dawson announced that this Canal tour, was one of his first, though his perfect balance of humor, knowledge, and friendliness, displayed him as a seasoned and fun guide.We had a great time.

WGB: While in the city my wife and I decided to take a cruise along the canal. We hadn’t booked ahead but were lucky enough to get tickets. We really enjoyed the cruise the young lady who was how tour guide did an amazing job. She did the whole cruise in French and English, informative and funny she made it a real fun cruise. Very relaxing and a nice way to spend a couple of hours.

Prachi Shailendra: This boat ride is a must do in Ottawa. It’s like the first introductory thing, like a handshake with the history and culture of the city. Ben, the tour guide was absolutely delightful! He will tell you the history of the canal, thereby of the city itself. He will also give you headsup to lovely photo points during the ride!I would recommend to go for the last ride, which is the 6.30pm slot, because then you see the day time view as well as sunset and night view. I’ve shared all photos and videos below so you know what I’m talking about 😊😊

David Mathew: This is one of two cruises we took the Ottawa Boat Cruise team. The crew was well organized, very friendly, and provided enjoyable commentary the trip up the canal, and provided a very relaxed and enjoyable "enjoy the ambiance" return down. The use of the electric boat made the trip far more enjoyable than others we've taken on canals as it made it very quiet and with out the smells and smoke that tend to follow along with diesel-powered canal boats. I would highly recommend the cruise for anyone looking for a lovely evening out.
Kunal Sen: Bit delay in submitting this review. Went for this ride with my kids almost 2 weeks back - it was basically daddy’s day out. The ride didn’t disappoint at all. Amazing views. Boarding was smooth. Great historical information regarding Ottawa given by the tour guide. All in all it was a great experience.
