Tundra Bucket: Great spot, has a functional kitchen with just about everything you need, and if the kitchen is missing anything, they'll get you what you need. Only real criticism is the elevators are a bit slow, and small.Rooms: Clean, nice for short and long stays.Nearby activities: Great food, and night life venues starting just across the street.Walkability: Almost everything you need is just a couple blocks away.Food & drinks: Great food and atmosphere in several establishments for all moods and styles in a 5 block radius.

Dave Gibb: Got there late afternoon. Service was really quick and polite. Last hotel I stayed in Ottawa it was like a security bank check to book in. Parking was meh, bit it's the airport and there was a soccer tourney in town. The room, was amazing. efficiency suite huge comfortable bed. Likely the best hotel stay I have had in a very very long time. I have a new place to stay when conducting business in Ottawa.

Gabe: I had a good experience staying at the byward suites as a single guy for almost two weeks. I needed access to be able to do work while away from home so the fast WiFi was a great thing to have.The bed was very comfortable, and the room had basically what anyone would need.As an obsese man the shower was a bit small but is likely very good for a regular sized person.The owner was very responsive and helpful via text.Walkability: Right inside the byward market, very close to the O train and Rideau center.Noteworthy details: Decently fast WiFi

Jason Lee: Great place to stay conveniently located in downtown Ottawa. Every room has a kitchen with most of the things you need like fridge, microwave, stove, etc. They even have utensils that you can use, and TVs with ChromeCast or FireStick.Safety: Entrance is with security code, so no outsiders can get in.Walkability: Close to mall, markets and restaurants nearby.
Jake Hypersonic: Excellent experience staying @Byward Suites the past 7 seven nights.✅Location Central Downtown Ottawa & across from Byward Market & near a massive high end shopping mall.✅Extremely Friendly / Accommodating Owner [Airbnb] Matt who I got to meet a couple times.✅Clean well appointed "loft style" suite with all eating utensils, cookware, stove, microwave, full fridge. TV 📺 with various apps to gain access to Netflix, Tubi, YouTube, etc.✅Heater / thermostat worked quickly and efficiently.✅Accommodated my service dog 🐕 without issue or problem.Would definitely recommend & will happily stay again on my next trip to Ottawa.Rooms: Loft style apartment. This is an airbnb more so than a hotel just fyi.Nearby activities: Walking distance to National Gallery, Parliament, shopping mall.Food & drinks: Tons of bars / restaurants near property.
Nick: Clean renovated rooms, easy access with texted door codes that change per guest for saftey. Big plus was a fire stick that was plugged into the TV with Netflix, Amazon and Disney logged into a universal account.I found it better than a hotel for a solid $100 less while being within 5 minutes of every bar in byward.

Tom Westheimer: Nice facility, but not a great location with respect to the surrounding population sadly. Still no troubles or problems. Tried to call and head and ask for parking if that's something you need. Otherwise external parking is not very convenientRooms: One thing very nice is the walk-in shower and they clean the room everyday.
Matthieu Yiptong: Relatively new hotel, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was very good for a lunch included in the hotel price. The location is convenient to the ByWard Market, downtown, the University of Ottawa, Vanier. Quite easy to access the 417 too. However, it may not be the best place to go out for a walk late at night.Rooms well insulated in terms of noise, I did not hear the noise from the street or other rooms.Parking - the garage is tight in many places, be careful if you have a large vehicle.Rooms: The room I got was very spacious, modern and clean. The only downside was that the water pressure in the shower was a bit low.Walkability: The hotel is well located, possible to walk in a few minutes to the Rideau Center, the Byward Market, University of Ottawa. However, King Edward Street is not very pleasant for walking, and in the evening there are sometimes loiterers.
