It was a great experience. I learned some very useful things that will help me in a variety of ways.

A first class cooking experience. Chef George is amazing! I'm not a cook at all and I've learned so much I'm such a short period. I will most definitely sign-up for other classes. Thank you for a great time and good food yummy in my belly.

I took the class to make chocolate pie and tarts. It was a great deal of fun. The facilitator of the class was amazing, so knowledgeable, and she really made the class enjoyable. I would highly recommend C'est Bon!

We signed up for the Chocolate Lover’s Tour as an activity for our anniversary - because we both love chocolate! Not knowing entirely what to expect, we were delighted to find ourselves blissfully enjoying chocolate for two hours from some of the best bakeries and cafés in the Byward Market. Stefanie is such an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who truly got us excited about chocolate, from its history to how it’s made and transformed. We tasted churros, macarons, pastries and gelato - and it felt like we travelled around the world as we learned about the history of all these creations. I cannot recommend this tour and C’est Bon enough - you will enjoy yourself and learn a lot in any class or tour you sign up for. And, you will get to appreciate all of the hidden food gems Ottawa has to offer!

My girlfriends and I took this amazing food tour with Stefanie. My friends are not Canadian and none of us live in Canada so it was so much more special as her knowledge of the history of the area was excellent. The food ,from each of the stops ,was fantastic and it was so nice to hear the story behind some of the chefs providing the food as well as how it is prepared.

Stefanie Is such a warm and enthusiastic guide that you are guaranteed to have a great tour. Make sure you come hungry!

We’ve visited C’Est Bon three times. Each time Chef George has surpassed himself with new and interesting recipes. The experience has always been educational, entertaining, delicious and wrapped in a healty dose of humour. Chef George is clearly passionate about his art and this translates in his teaching. We will continue to visit C’Est Bon and highly recommend you also treat yourself to this experience.

This tour was an awesome experience! Richard was an excellent guide! Not only did we discover some new eats in the Market, but Richard made the tour very interesting with historic and product information on the different restaurants. We also enjoyed getting to know this new Canadian resident and showering him with Canadian kindness.

What a great afternoon my husband and I had on the Taste of the ByWard Market food tour! Every stop was absolutely delicious. There was so much food on the tour that I took my final tasting home with me. Stefanie was a wonderful guide - friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She has great relationships with all of the tasting stop owners and we really felt warmly welcomed by all of them. I’ve visited Ottawa many times but learned and saw lots in the market area that I had no idea about. Thank you Stefanie for such a great tour!
