Chris B: The staff that I had the opportunity to meet are all unique wonderful individuals very helpful, more then reasonable very understanding, will accommodate you when it comes to occurrence that happen in your everyday life. The school offers both day and night courses, they have room for those who need extra help. Offer free breakfast daily to all students also have a retro room thats open one day of the week for students the need clothing small household items etc

Our worst fear was that he would not graduate.All that changed when we enrolled our son at the school.Our son is learning, enjoying going to school and flourishing.We look toward to his high school graduation and to celebrate the great student that the school has helped him become.The motto of changing the environment where your kids learn so they can bloom is part of everything the school does.They take your child, figure out what kind of flower they are, what environment they need to learn, grow in and provide any supports so your child becomes successful.The teachers, and staff at the school are fabulous and really care about our son. Ms. Cheryl is exceptional as the principal, professional and so good with our son and all the kids.At the end of the day, Hertiage Academy is worth every cent we pay to send our son there.

Dana Pement: This is my daughter's second year at Heritage Academy. Without going into detail about her experiences in the public system and what brought her to the school, I can honestly say that the school was a safe place to land following some hard days. She doesn't have any learning exceptionalities but needs accommodations for other reasons. Everyone has been amazing, and she feels supported and believed in. She loves it.
Tammy Scott: We switched our son to Heritage a year ago and he is absolutely thriving. Our only regret is not doing it sooner! The teachers and staff are incredible, and they really helped my son achieve new academic heights. I also highly recommend the Jiu Jitsu program at the school.

Natalie Filiou: My son was struggling at his high school. The school was not equipped to handle his needs. A student with high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder and anxiety, he struggled to be understood and to get the support he needed. Thanks to Ms. Ward and his AMAZING teachers, my son excelled at Heritage Academy and graduated in June 2023. He will be attending Algonquin College in the Gaming Development three-year program in the fall. Our family is beyond thankful. We have our two other sons, also diagnosed with ASD and anxiety, attending the school- and we know they are in good hands. Thank you!!!!

Lynn Kilby Kempster: I am class 2006, i absolutely loved my teachers and friends. One thing, i DO NOT blame them, i blame the OCDSB for the lack of good education. The curriculum was horrible. I had to attend Elizabeth wyn wood to finish as i could no longer take the idiocy of what these poor teachers are forced to teach every single day. They deserve the biggest award for doing what they could with what they where givin at the time i attended. I hope this has changed but I'd not please choose catholic school board over any public school in Ottawa Nepean Ontario. No disrespect my teachers, you have successfully taught us reality which is much more important. I use life skills more than math or science any day of the week and couldn't THANK ALL OF your hard work that in return allowed your students to blossom into wonderful adults almost pushing 40 years old now. -Sam -: For people who come from another country it is quite inclusive, the teachers are kind and at no time have I felt belittled or ignored, if you are not very good at the language, don't worry, the teachers will try to help as much as possible, they don't bother me either. I feel bad about my colleagues, I felt welcomed and in good hands, well, not everything is rosy, the person who attends the reception is a bit bitter and does not seem interested in helping with the truck issue and I had problems but I hope you don't have them 😁

MAMOUT A: Hello, I’m a student with Persian background I’ve been in Nepean High School for all my high school year. It’s a good school. You have coffee house events which are just a bunch of untalented individuals with donkey voices on the stage, but still it’s better than brining a gun to school like Woodroffe. The education isn’t bad, but keep in mind that if you wanna succeed, make sure to have a good teacher rather than your course. Athletic teams are good and welcoming. No bullies in Nepean and if someone picks on you, just beat them up, what’s the worst that can happen eh?. Overall, my main problem is the lgbt none sense that they try to brainwash the teenagers with. But overall, If you live in an area where you can go to Nepean, I recommend it.
