4worldlovers: Children’s Castle Daycare Center is a nonprofit daycare located near the South Keys shopping center. Situated off Hunt Club near Bank Street, our center cares for children ranging in age from 10 months to 6 years. We have been in operation since 1983, and several of our staff have been with us for more than 10 years. Our staff members have successfully completed police record checks and you can read about our staff here. We have recently closed our school aged program to do major renovations and we are hoping we are able to re-open that program in the next year or so.


All of our teachers and supervisors are Registered Early Childhood Educators and our assistants have child-related diplomas and/or significant training and experience with children. CPR, First Aid, and Anaphylaxis training is done on a regular basis. Our dedicated, experienced teachers offer a balanced program that includes age-appropriate activities referring to the ELECT framework, How Does Learning Happen, and using an emergent curriculum. 4worldlovers: Ottawa Albert is centrally located in downtown Ottawa just minutes from Parliament Hill, on the main floor of the Constitution Square building at the corner of Albert St. and Lyon St. N. 15-minute parking is available underground at no cost, or caregivers that have a parking permit can use the alcove in front of the building.

This location offers Infant, Toddler, Preschool and Kindergarten programs with the option of full-time, part-time, or backup care. We also offer flex care, where possible, which allows you to pick the number of days you’d like your child to attend per week, and even lets you split the time between locations – a convenient option for those that work partially at home and partially in an office.

We have 5 classrooms that can accommodate 65 children from newborn to 5 years old. Rooms are bright and filled with light, and are equipped with a webcam that caregivers can access throughout the day. Our outside space is fully fenced in with plenty of sunshine and is located on a third-floor terrace in Tower 1. We are lucky to have wonderful views of downtown from here!
