Blue Ray: I would love to grab a hot chocolate and a pastry, sit by the window in this cafe and watch the livelihoods of the byward market. I do find however that the place is becoming more and more outdated and rundown and I don’t enjoy that hence, changing to other coffee shops in the area.I’d really encourage the owners to step up their game and renovate! I would be one of the customers who’d be back for sure. That is, if you don’t hike up the prices though!Best wishes!

Mary M: Came by for a post dinner tea, inside it’s decorated very well, there are pictures all over the wall, some antique artifacts like an old radio near the sugar/cutlery station a mirror featured wall really gives the illusion of a bigger space. They have some seating available, including floor cushions. There is a sign that states limit to one hour when busy which I can understand.We arrived shortly before the post Iftar rush. It got very busy very quickly. Staff seemed to be overwhelmed as they get through all customers. We waited to have our order taken but sat down when they were busy. Eventually we placed our order and waited. Since we only got an adani chai and kunafa, we got our items quickly. The Adana chai was cooked well, it was creamy and flavourful. We got sugar sticks $.75 the concept it great, however, the stick breaks very quickly leaving your drink incredibly sweet so make sure to not leave it in there if you want a somewhat sweet tea.The kunafa was $12 for a piece. This was dissatisfying, it appeared to be re-heated because that was definitely not a fresh kunafa. It was dry and around the edges. We only had a few bites and left it.Overall, They have a large selection of drinks to choose from, and sandwiches. It appears to be incredibly busy during Ramadan but I will definitely come back to have the tea again.Wheelchair accessibility: No barriers in place

Sasha No: Love the chill vibes, the flourless cookies, the dog friendly space here. We love visiting with our dogs, they know exactly where the treat jar is at by now! I think the owner had a dog as well because there’s a picture of “Mickey” and the staff seem to always like seeing our dogs. It makes me so happy to support this local cafe. Owen McGuire: Had a great experience here with my wife and young son. Atmosphere, service and the food were all excellent. Kaiya was especially warm and welcoming and helped us navigate all the choices and made recommendations since we are not oatmeal connoisseurs but now have a new appreciation for it and all of the extra options/additions that are available to make it super delicious and health conscious. Will definately be back!

Lynne Lin: Cute small local shabby chic décore and ambiance. Nothing fancy but rustic shabby flare.I do like their cups as they are of descent weight and the barrister prepares the drink with added cream/ milk/ sugar according to your need. Although they don’t have a self serve counter, it is environmentally friendly.
Brandon Robinson: and good drip coffee.The peanut butter balls looked huge at first, but have a surprising light crunchy interior that makes them taste much more pleasant and light than what you would expect from just a solid peanut butter ball. I kinda love it.I'll definitely be back. Love this place.

She loved the peanut butter ball, which is similar to a rice krispy treat made of peanut butter and covered in chocolate. The brownie was also very good. Next time I'll try the alfajor. This version is rolled in coconut. They also have empanadas. Cute place for a quick bite.

Nathalie Double: I love going there in the mornings for their strawberry and maple crepes and a chai latté. I usually spend an hour or two enjoying breakfast and drawing or colouring. The atmosphere is very cozy. It can be very busy in there. That said,I've always been able to get a table. The staff are kind. I've recently tried their scones. My favourite is raspberry pistachio. Just yesterday I tried their strawberry pineapple scone. It was very tasty as well.Dietary restrictions: They have dairy free milk options. I'm not sure about their food though.Parking: Depending on the time of day, it can be difficult to find parking. The parking lot is for several businesses. When I go before 10am I can get a parking spot.
Julia Berkers: The service was a little slow but I think only 3 people were working and they have a very large menu. Lots of tables were dirty, not being cleared. Our tea and 1 slice of cheesecake took 15 mins to arrive. Maybe we visited at a time when they were short staffed. Regardless, stunning location, elegant, romantic, great menu. Not gluten free friendly. The staff told me the only thing you can have GF is a coffee or tea.

Hadeer Amen: I love this place, it’s truly superb. The food and selection is great, the service is marvelous. If an order takes longer to make they let you know in advance. I never tried the high tea experience but definitely on my list.We were a group of 7 and the cafe was full for Mother’s Day but they were still able to accommodate us on such short notice and with the place full the service was still great; nothing was late except their croissant-waffle took 25 mins and they let me know while ordering that it takes that long in case I didn’t wish to wait and preferred to get something else.
Lama Kassem Moussa: Highly recommended. Owner and staff very friendly and kind. The food is so delicious and Halal. We ordered chicken italiano and morning glory with chicken pesto both are so yummy. We also ordered a new sweet iteam with cherries and cream, it was very delicious also. The experience is great. I highly recommend it!

Brynmor Jones: A gem of a coffee shop. I always aim to support local, and this coffee shop often has me remembering why. The coffee is always fresh, the staff have the most welcoming customer service you're like to come across, and the soup is amazing. They also offer vegan and gluten free food and desserts.
