Today I was looking for it and a kind gentleman ask me “Are you looking for anything” I showed him a pic of the elusive hat I’ve been in search for he said I know where that is and quickly brought me to the display when he realized it was out ran to the back to look for it. Mr. Titanium: My very first visit to Cabelas was to purchase a high-end shotgun which was a few hundred dollars cheaper than Dante in Montreal. Unlike Dante, the guys behind the gun counter aren't arrogant and don't complain about politics. I'll be visting again next time I'm in Ottawa.
Kevin MacKay: Great store, lots of selection! We were looking for a camping mess kit and accessories as well as a flash light. There were lots of options in several price ranges. A staff member asked if we needed help and guided us to the right area then checked back in a bit to make sure we were good. The cashier was friendly and talkative.Overall a very pleasant experience, it was my son's first time in the store.

Lewis Falia: *update below*I tried buying a simple clothing from them and their « security » system wouldn’t allow my transaction for a « mismatched » billing address. Even though I’ve called my bank 3 times and they confirmed that the address is good and that the payments went through. It took me almost two weeks to deal with 3 different people, 2 of which were supposed to call me back but never did. It felt like since I didn’t work for the governement I was a useless customer and they didn’t really care at some point.. It’s a shame because their prices are good.UPDATE:I originaly gave a one star rating but I decided to try one last time after 3 weeks and the payment went through and the item was shipped shortly after. It’s not really that they didn’t care about me but I felt like the could’ve reached the company that provides their billing solution to see if there was a problem with their database but anyway, I will receive the item soon so that’s what counts the most. I will surely re-order from that website because they have a great selection of quality items that suits my arctic survival well !
