Luc Laliberté: Particularly successful and tasty meal. The poor rating given to the service does not target the waitress, but rather her manager. Even though I had a good meal there, I will never return to this restaurant because of its attitude. We do not lecture in a condescending and contemptuous manner to a customer who has just paid more than $500 to honor the presence of colleagues who are dear to him. In front of my guests, he lectured me on the tip that he wanted to be at least 18% or more. I paid in cash and left the required amount. There was no tact or respect in the way he addressed me. I stay in Ottawa regularly and regularly invite friends. Next time I will invest more than $600 with a competitor.Dietary restrictions: They respect gluten free diet
Aline Maurel: The food is elegantly presented but both the Caesar salad and the monkfish dish lacked flavor. Great choice of wine but limited options on the menu for non meat eaters.Vegetarian options: Not enough options
Paul Dagg: Very nice restaurant with excellent service in the Germain Hotel. House pickles and roasted seasonal carrot salad were particularly good. Bar menu is small but well curated and cocktails were well balanced and crafted. My only complaint is that the restaurant prides itself on its focus on Canadian ingredients and food but the wine list is mostly non-Canadian. With so many good and varied wines from Canada available this is not necessary. I find this is unfortunately a characteristic of many restaurants in Canada but it is a time we learn to take as much pride in our wine as we do in our food.
Mac & Cheeses: Yet another great experience at the Norca restaurant!This establishment is innovative and exquisite.The word needs to be spread in order for people to be aware of this Ottawa gem!First of all the front desk staff is fantastic.So attentive… So hospitable…From the charismatic and professional gentleman that opens the door… to the funky girl with cool earrings that made sure we got to the parking lot safe.You could tell that she is a hawk when it comes to being costumer oriented.I will like to thank Lydia from the restaurant. She was not our server, but she was basically running the whole place by herself. Charming lady.I can’t wait to keep coming back to Norca and experience it’s authentic local flavours. Germain is the place to be!Parking: Don’t park across the street. It was 29$ for 2h. Park at Rideau center.
LuMi Naire: Very nice restaurant within the Le Germain Ottawa hotel.Went for the breakfast buffet only, none of the dinner options looked appetizing or tempted me.Breakfast buffet options are very good for a fair price. Would have loved that the chef would make the eggs to my liking instead of scrambled eggs like everywhere else.

Shawn Henderson: Absolutely Fantastic. It has been a while since I visited, but friends suggested it and I'm so glad that they did. All our plates were perfect. Appetizers were delicious. Mains perfectly presented and we were each in awe of the others meals. Server was friendly and helpful, knew the menu and the wine list. Recommendations were spot on. I'll go back more often!!!
Glenn Johnson: Thank you to the managers and staff for making my partner's surprise 60th party a more than memorable event. We had vegan, gluten-free and regular diners in our party of 12. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic and a special thanks for letting us bring in something special for our party -- above and beyond. I was surprised that the bill for all of us was less than I expected. We will be back, and will tell everyone about you! Thanks again!
Peter Blouin: This place is somewhat upscale. The decor is nice and classy. The food is excellent. I spoke to one of the servers and she mentioned that the food is first class. They buy the best quality. The herbs are grown in a garden in the back. They have special dishes for two. A friend and I had duck wings. They were delicious. I highly recommend it.

Jessica Gao: A Sunday brunch at Daly's was by far the most wonderful experience we ever had in Ottawa. Shoutout to the Manager Michael, and Andrea, they really went out of their way to ensure we had the greatest brunch when we needed the most, top of the notch customer service even among all the Bonvoy chain. My kid had a really rough morning at a tournament just across the street but the carness and kindness we received at Daly's from Michael and Andrea really made our day. They were incredibly caring, companionate, as well as knowledgeable about their menu. Reasonable price, soothing ambiance comfortable seats and settings, very conveniently located in heart of Ottawa. We know for sure where to stay and eat for the rest of our trips to Ottawa. Michael and Andrea, you have no idea what an amazing impact this was to my young children, the unrolling of the brilliance of great people is a major part of which made a memorable childhood. Sincere appreciation from the bottom of my heart and I hope yourselves are treated the same way wherever you go !By the way, we missed the buffet breakfast so Michael recommended A la carte menu which turned out to be wonderful, the fruits on the waffle was fresh, decent coffee, the food alone deserves 5 star already !Kid-friendliness: kids friendly !
Ester ༄: This cozy coffee shop is perfect for both brunch and breakfast. You've got the choice of picking from a menu or diving into a buffet. The buffet includes a mix of exotic and local fruits, various breads ready for toasting, waffles, pancakes, yogurts, muesli and more. Plus, there's a cool spot where you can customize your own omelet. While it's not huge, the variety is pretty decent. On the menu side, you'll find both sweet and savory dishes. You can tell the ingredients are very fresh and of good quality. And for coffees, they offer plant-based milk alternatives, which is great. It would be even better if they could expand their vegan options a bit more.Vegetarian options: Avocado Toast, yogurt bowls, waffles, cereals, smoothies, virtually anything except for the meat that's offered at the buffet
Wes Smith: Amazing visit this weekend to Daly's. We go a few times a year because we love the brunch so much but this time was for a birthday celebration. The staff knew ahead of time but they went above and beyond, decorating the seating area and bringing out a special dessert was all a surprise!Most of the staff came by the table to wish a happy birthday. They were all so friendly and our server Shara was incredible.Highly recommend the breakfast brunch always but regardless of why you go the service is top notch and you'll definitely have a fantastic experience!
Mary Darling: Went there for the breakfast buffet today. Had a great experience. The food was really good for a hotel buffet. Lots of variety, and the omelet station did exactly what I wanted. There was even a nice little cheese board. When we had an issue our server, Rashid, took care of it immediately and made sure we had a very pleasant experience. This was our first time there, and we were scoping it out for a family experience. We are definitely taking the family back there.

Michael Forian: Our company hosted a reception for 50+ people followed by a sit down dinner at Beckta. It was — without a doubt — a phenomenal success thanks to the wonderful staff, incredible food, and excellent wine & cocktails! Beckta’s location is conveniently located in downtown Ottawa on Elgin, and is in a very distinguished historic building. A handshake, and if he knows you personally it’s always a hug, and or a kiss on the cheek. From when you sit down, the servers are right on top of you getting ready to make sure that you enjoy your evening. The food is fantastic. The service is majestic. Colin Mascaro: Never disappointed here. Food is unique and always excellent while the service is incredible... Not too formal but clearly know what they are doing.
Sumaira Islam: Came here for my partners birthday. The bread was definitely the best part of dinner, very soft and nicely buttered. My favourite dish was the squash cappellacci, absolutely delicious and a little sweet and savoury. The bucatini alla gricia was decent but quite similar to other pasta dishes in Italian restaurants. I did find the menu to be quite limited, as someone who doesn’t eat pork there was not a ton of options. I would however still come back when the menu changes as the food was definitely delicious.

Our lady server went above and beyond any Swiss Chalet servers we have ever had. From finger bowls, to a continuous stream ensuring we had napkins, if the food was good, if we needed anything, ensured coffee was fresh and refilled, treating the group like kings! I have no problem recommending this location to the fold! Brava and thanks, you definitely made our day!Parking: Plenty of parking all around the dining area.

From the moment we sat down, Faith greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Her attentive and friendly service truly enhanced our meal. Faith’s efficient service ensured our drinks were always filled, and she checked on us regularly without being intrusive.
