Maritza De Davila: Amazing place, not crowded, new equipment, very clean. Bev is knowledgeable and patient, and is always watching you and helping you doing your workout in a way that you get the best out of it. I’m looking forward to the intermediate class!

Sabiha Sultana: I can’t thank Maida enough for my improved strength and confidence not just in the gym but in life!! Maida is an excellent trainer who is kind, patient and encouraging. She stresses the importance of learning proper form and technique to prevent injury, as well as developing healthy eating habits and setting smart goals. Before I joined WWL, I was only able to lift 5-10 lbs and didn’t understand how to progress further, but with Maida’s guidance, I have become strong and learned to lift more than my weight! I am always motivated to come to class knowing how much it boosts my confidence and makes me feel accomplished. This is a judgement-free environment and all of the women in the program are lovely!

Sony Johny: If you are an absolute beginner and do not know where or how to start your lifting journey, I highly recommend Maida's beginner's class. Maida has a very calming presence and she's very generous about sharing her extensive knowledge. She begins every class with a 15 min lecture on topics such as nutrition and exercise that's really helpful in setting your goals. I definitely see an improvement in my fitness and confidence levels. I was also lucky to be in a group of super supportive women who inspired and cheered each other on which made the whole process so much more exciting and fulfilling.

If you aren't lifting as heavy as you & him know you could lift, he will challenge you to scale up and lift more. He truly wants you to benefit from the workout and not cheap out. Since joining my legs are much stronger now, with less pain and i am walking better and with less limping. Eric is very professional and also very down to earth. Eric has me on a total body workout program, so that my upper body is being strengthened as well. I would highly recommend anyone to join Studio One Fitness and to have Eric as a Personal Trainer.

I was not sure how to use the equipment or even the motions that are associated with each exercise.Derek Chow, a personal trainer at Studio One made sure that I was in my comfort zone each time I trained with him. Once he noticed that I was comfortable with certain exercises and weights, he would push me to do more advance movements with heavier weights. This was important for me as I never felt discouraged when I worked out with him.Spending 3 months with him I was able to learn a lot of basic weight lifting exercises that I still continue to do so in my home gym. If you are looking for patient trainer that knows how to encourage and also push your comfort zone, then I would highly recommend Derek and Studio One!
