Thomas Hahn: Dr Matz is very professional and I’m very happy with the results 3 months post treatment. The color of my feet and legs have gone from a purple red color to a normal white tone and the swollen feet I was accustomed to have gone away. The bulging veins in my legs have all but gone away with just a few small veins remaining which Dr Matz says will go with more time. The procedure was painless and relaxing. I was able to walk out with no support stockings for the first time in many years. All in all, a great experience.... I would highly recommend this procedure to anyone suffering from varicose veins.

Grace Asper: I went for a consultation and eventual procedure to deal with my varicose veins with Dr. I. Vucemilo. Great office, with modern design. Efficient and friendly secretary, Gimena. Love the compression stockings that I purchased from them. Even though I had to pay out-of-pocket for my procedure, I feel that it was worth having the option to deal with my achy, sore and veiny legs. The day of the procedure, I already felt a difference. Katie, the ultrasound technician made sure I was prepared for the procedure, talking me through it and reassuring me. I had every confidence with Dr. V with his technical and medical expertise to perform the procedure. He had the music playing and helped me to relax by engaging me in conversation, keeping it light and fun. Prior to the procedure, I did feel anxious but my questions and concerns were addressed by Dr. V. Gimena followed up the next day with a phone call to make sure I was doing ok. Their information booklet was very clear in terms of what to expect post-operatively. I highly recommend Dr. V., along with his staff that are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I am quite pleased with Dr. V’s professionalism, expertise with best practices in this field, approachable and follows through appropriately to ensure patient concerns and issues are addressed.

The technician, Michael was so attentive and compassionate. He was supportive by taking the time to speak to my family doctor and explain the situation and discuss the immediate next steps. Paulo Gallarza: Dr. Rapanos and his team are very knowledgeable in anything vein related and gave me confidence that I’d be in good hands before, during, and after the procedure! I’ve had varicose veins since I was 16 and it had slowly affected how I played sports and especially during the end of long work days from standing so much. My options were either to get the general vein extraction or go through the laser treatment.The vein extraction method was covered through OHIP, however the healing time was expected to be a month or so. I definitely couldn’t do that, and also the pain I heard through that procedure would be substantially more than this laser method.The laser method that I chose was around $3600 but I could walk the same day AND the healing time took only 3-4 days. I was legitimately walking the same day. The initial incision they make I remember was quite a strange feeling as they freeze the required areas where the varicose vein is which they need to work on- I able to talk through it with Dr. Rapanos and was very reassuring and calming.Over the course of 2 months, the vein had shrunk and went away and now I don’t have heavy feeling legs at the end of the day! Running has never felt better, and so many other exercises requiring jumping or continuous activity on the legs/feet.From start to end thank you for the care and service. Will recommend every single time to anyone needing this procedure done!
