Those who make up the Eden United Church community of faith are treaty people. We meet, worship, and serve within the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. We recognize that we are within the bounds of the Ajetance Treaty (Treaty 19) agreed upon by the Mississaugas of the Credit and the British Crown in 1818.

We give thanks to the Creator for the gifts of this beautiful planet, and for the blessing of this land. We give thanks to the various Indigenous Peoples who have lived in this area over the millenia for the stewardship of this their traditional territory. We are committed to the care of this land and to work at reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples, addressing the injustices they have suffered and continue to suffer.


For we are all one people. We are all a part of one web of life upon which the whole of creation depends.

We are appointed by the Lord for the advancement of Christianity locally and internationally. We are a Canadian Pentecostal Church located in Mississauga and please check our website www.ucpf.ca and there under “OUR BELIEFS” to know about our faith.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ and the Trinity i.e. the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit as one God. We also believe that the salvation is only by faith and that faith is in Jesus Christ alone. We baptize in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit (Mt 28:19). We believe that anyone who accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior must obey the commandment of water baptism or they will be lost as it says in Mark 16:16 “He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned.” We also believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongue. This blessed and vital experience is the key and the secret to know the riches and depth of the holy spirit. However, we do not believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit is synonymous with sanctification or holiness.

“Lord Jesus, I am a sinner and I believe that you died for my sins. I ask you to forgive my sins. I open the door of my life and receive you as my Saviour and Lord. 4worldlovers: We are open for in-person services! Masks are optional but encouraged. Half of the church is designated for socially-distant seating (masks are required in this section) and half has unrestricted seating.

The Listeners' Corner meets weekly on Wednesdays at 10 am on Zoom but is on hiatus in July and August.

The land on which our church building sits and where we live out our ministry is land which has been lived on and walked on for thousands of years. It is the traditional territory of the Anishnabe, Haudenosaunee and Huron-Wendat peoples and more recently, the Metis, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. May our worship honour the relationships that are celebrated and invited here, and may we always remember the story of this land, the people who live here, and the call to live with respect and thanksgiving.
