Rebecca Doss: I had a very good experience at Mississauga PEAK Sleep Clinic. The staff were pleasant, professional and courteous, walking me through the entire procedure. I felt everything was well explained and the results came and I saw the doctor to be treated for my insomnia - I am starting to do much better after seeing the sleep psychologist Jessica here after so many decades of suffering.

My room looked like an actual bedroom and I was relieved that I didn’t have to sleep in a hospital bed. The technician that helped me was very calm and kind as she prepped me with all of the wires and gadgets for the study. She talked me through every step and it really helped. I didn’t think I would fall asleep, but I did! It was a very good experience…where it could have been a very bad one

Jinhee Lee: . The technicians have multiple patients. So you may not be seen for 1.5-2 hours. Bring a book or something to do.The rooms are controlled by central air so the temp can be controlled by fans in the room or extra blankets that the techs offer if you need. The facility was clean, including the washrooms. In terms of noise, you can also ask for ear plugs, which was helpful for me to sleep.Yes, the wires are weird and uncomfortable compared to how you normally sleep at night but overall the experience isn't bad at all. Don't expect a hotel quality relaxation and stay - you are going for a medical appt!In the morning, the glue/goo that is applied to keep wires in place on your head and body can be easily washed off with warm water.I was up by 5:30 a.m and out the door by 6 a.m.If it helps others like it did for me, I would suggest watching some videos of sleep studies on YT - it will help you to understand what to expect on your appointment, particularly around the set up of all the wires and such.
Sand P.: Just completed my 2nd Sleep Study at Tri-Hospital Hurontario. This bedding and mattress were clean. The staff were professional. The location was easy to access, and there's lots of parking.I had Farid do my setup both times. He was polite and professional. He explained the process clearly and answered any questions I had. Even when I woke up at 3am to use the bathroom, he was there quickly to unplug me and let me go.The 1st time you go it may be uncomfortable with all the wires and connectors and equipment. It's a lot to process if you've never done this before. But you quickly get used it and find ways to get comfortable as the night goes by. This is a medical study, not an all-inclusive resort vacation.Follow the instructions carefully before you arrive. Bring the bare minimum to ensure you don't leave anything behind. Health Card, Slippers, toothbrush, bottle water, list of medications. You'll do a bit of waiting as the staff set up the other patients but you'll get your turn. Bring a book or phone to pass time.ProTip: The 'glue' that keeps the connectors connected to your skin can be easily removed with a little warm water. I used the paper towels in the washroom with hot tap water to wipe them all off in the morning with little trouble. You can bring a small washcloth if that helps with the clean-up in the morning.I'm thankful to have gone through this process at Tri-Hospital. It has helped me get a better nights sleep after years of suffering.
Manny Khan: Came here for a sleep study and found the staff very professional and friendly. They made sure that I had knowledge of how the sleep study is conducted. As a full disclosure, you will be sleeping with some 20 sensors connected to your head, chest, belly and legs as well as a pulse meter connected to your finger. Its not exactly going to be the same confortable environment as your home and changing sleeping positions will be a challenge as there will be wires running alongside your body. Still, the staff did what they could to make the experience good.

Robert Kipa: I can only speak to the overnight sleep study portion of the clinic, which is clean, comfortable, and professionally staffed. Unfortunately, no showering allowed. Free underground parking, though.It’s a little confusing when you first get there, since the lab occupies several rooms on both sides of the hallway. There is no official reception desk, but lots of paper signs that try and steer you in the right direction.

Aida Stefani: My husband has been for years with VitalAir and is very satisfied. We have been using the Mississauga location for few years and really like the customer service. Staff responds to his needs with the ordering accessories or problems with the existing machine. He often is assisted by a staff member Elsa who tries her best to help him with everything. She recently helped him finding a solution with a broken and recalled machine from Respironics by finding a temporary replacement loaned machine that she went above and beyond to adapt to his needs. We are very grateful. Hopefully the Respironics respond and replace the machine fast.

TAHIR HUSSAIN: It was a very poor experience initially, as i was waiting for may phone appointment for i hr and 19 minutes before i could talk o Dr Ahmed. The phone call was very short and i could hardly understood my problem and Dr Ahmed diagnosis. I studied everything including my sleep study report and the options suggested by Dr Ahmed. I then requested a follow up appointment with Dr Ahmed and i was happy to have his full attention to my request and we had a detailed discussion in the follow up call and i was fully satisfied with his response. Thanks Dr Ahmed!I again visited this place and it has another very good experience with the doctor and his staff

Jim Krafchik: It's the end of 2018, and I am still missing the man who nailed down my sleep problems way back when I first met him in 2008. He was my "sleep doctor" until he moved a few years ago. He was the nicest guy and he was the man who spoke the truth in 2008 and convinced me to have a sleep study and, eventually, use a CPAP machine. I went from being so tired that I wanted to die to having a day every once in a while when I was a little tired. Now, in 2019, I'm due for my third CPAP machine... and I am not really looking forward to dealing with someone other than Dr. AAS.An update: July 2022I have had my third CPAP machine for 2+ years now. A Philips Dreamstation that was recalled for defective insulation about a year ago. Had to keep using it. Can’t sleep well without it. This month, Philip’s replaced it with the “Dreamstation 2” and it’s as nice as the original.My new “sleep doctor “ was almost as good as Dr AAS. Hmmmm
