The communication and updates I got about the repair really made me feel comfortable that my motor was in good hands and at the right place.The back of my skeg sheared off and took with it a peice that the bearing carrier bolt threads into. The threads were exposed and oil / water was leaking out. What I could expect from the repair was explained well. I was called as soon as the hole was fixed and another when the skeg was welded on. Picked it up in less than a week.The lower unit looks like new, the price was fair and I am thrilled to be back on the water and not missing bass opener.

I installed it with no issues. The measurements Jonathon took were bang on considering the fit is perfect. There was ample tie down material supplied, a set of instructions and everything you need to install. The material seems like it will hold up well for many years. An investment you will reek the rewards of considering the cost of shrink wrap these days. Not to mention no waste come Spring. Highly recommend.
