Lisa Henry: We stumbled across Barks n’ Rec last year when we were looking somewhere to take our coonhound. Our dog loves the outdoors and wanted to find a place that not only had a large indoor facility but also outdoor so he can bask in the sun in nice weather. We also wanted somewhere that we could board him for overnight or longer stays and not worry about adding onto a one play time or walk.Matt treats his business like a true daycare. He is selective with who enters into his pac. All dogs need to be vaccinated and not aggressive. Dogs of all sizes are welcome. The care, love, affection and treatment your furry pet gets from the staff is nothing short of amazing. It took us a while to find anywhere that we felt comfortable taking our furry child Tracker and this is 100% the best place. This was the only facility we found in Mississauga that offered unlimited play and indoor / outdoor space.We have recommend this to many other dog owners. Thank you to Matt and his team for offering the best place for Tracker!

Max, my long haired orange tabby, had matting around his hind quarter and when I tried to get them out it wasn't a pleasant experience, to say the least. I took Max over at 3:00 and Sam called 50 minutes later to say he was finished. Max is a little skittish so I was concerned he would be pretty stressed. I was shocked. He was so calm I couldn't believe it!When I got Max home he ate and acted like nothing had happened. It was fabulous! I was so much more stressed out than he was!Sam and Kyle explained everything to me in detail, both on the phone and in person. I find them to be extremely professional and interested in making the pets very relaxed. I would highly recommend this business,

Marina: My bun and I had an excellent experience recently with Bubina’s pet sitting. From the beginning communication with Ameera was fantastic, I definitely felt my bun was in safe hands. I loved receiving multiple updates throughout the days on how my bun was doing, which put me at ease while I was travelling. My only complaint is that she is a bit far from the gta, but knowing my bun was in safe hands and appeared to be having tons of fun made it worth the drive! Finding trustworthy, knowledgeable people to care for our exotics is always a challenge, but I had complete confidence in leaving my sassy little potato with Ameera. "Sunny" the guinea pig and I can confidently recommend her services!

There was an incredible attention to detail and instant communication of any questions that came up. It can be difficult to find small animal care, I would 100% recommend Bubina's to anyone looking to board their furbaby, this was so above and beyond my expectations and we couldn't be happier!

Sabrina Ofield: So happy we went with Ameera! I have two guinea pigs that unfortunately can't be kept in the same cage anymore due to a really bad fight where blood was drawn. At home they live in the same cage with a divider in the middle. This was our first time leaving them with someone else. I'm very happy we put our trust in her. From the moment we dropped them off I knew everything would be fine. We also received tons of pictures and videos so we could see how our boys were doing. It can be very stressful having two pigs in separate cages and obviously more work but Ameera did a fantastic job. A true animal lover. Aloysius Handojo: Ameera is very passionate in taking great care of our 4 years old Lop eared rabbit - Mochii for a few nights. She sent us lots of pictures and videos to show us how well Mochii adjusting her self in a new place and how happy she was roaming around. Mochii doesn't show sign of any anxieties at all when we took her back home which was a great relieve to know how comfortable she was with Ameera. This is not your typical daycare - it is so much more 💛 Although this last part.. begs the question what our doggos experience when we place them in places with 30-40+ other dogs, a terrible human to doggo ratio, staff who have little to no knowledge of dog body language/behaviour, and unsupervised play 😵💫

Rashi Gupta: There is no one more skilled or More patient to handle your dog than Kim. She walked my two huge “trouble dogs” for 5 years straight and introduced us to so many insights and tidbits of information about their reactive behaviours. The only reason we stopped our walks with Kim is because Kim advanced to become a trainer and required her attendance at the day care everyday. But even before she became a certified trainer, her understanding of canine psychology and assessment of their needs was quite accurate and so kind. Now that she has a puppy daycare where she also trains dogs, I can only imagine the benefits that the centre will impart to the members.

He would lunge and bite if he had something he thought was high value.Kim was able to come into and explain everything to us in a way we understood. Communicating with the staff and owner is enjoyable and I always have quick responses by phone and email. I really appreciate being able to get my dog in for daycare last minute if needed, and that they have strict policies on all dogs being up to date with their vaccinations in order to attend. I highly recommend The Dog Stop for your dogs daycare, grooming and training needs!

Shaan Ghai: and the team are constantly giving us tips and tricks on how to continue to strengthen their skills, which are highly effective. Arlene makes herself very much available whenever we have questions and takes the time to explain the theory and practical application of the techniques. Prior to working with The Dog Stop, our dogs were highly reactive, timid and scared of a number of encounters, including other dogs. Fast forward to current day and we now have our dogs out on walks with significantly less reactivity, the ability to interact with other dogs and much calmer. I would add - you will only get as much out of it, as you put in.
Burt Hurt: Well the name says it all. They are amazing with teaching dogs and fixing some naughty behaviors. Doggy Axelrod and Sherman are getting their canine degrees there!
