I installed it with no issues. The measurements Jonathon took were bang on considering the fit is perfect. There was ample tie down material supplied, a set of instructions and everything you need to install. The material seems like it will hold up well for many years. An investment you will reek the rewards of considering the cost of shrink wrap these days. Not to mention no waste come Spring. Highly recommend.

Lesson learned... never use old gas from the previous owner!They also replaced the fuel tank, as they noticed issues with the pick-up mechanism.Klaus Team also discovered that I had used the incorrect lower unit gasket washer! I had incorrectly used a Mercury part in there, and it's not the same as Japanese Tohatsu for this part. They resolved this for me as well.They also noticed that I had incorrectly stored my outboard motor on the wrong side. They cleaned up the oil spill inside the engine area.On May 4, I picked-up my motor. Per my request, Paul set aside additional spare parts upon my arrival.Total repair bill in my case was about $400. Labour rate here is $129/hr. It's reasonable if you ask me. The additional maintenance parts I had purchased separately were reasonably priced as well.This is an extremely busy shop. Paul works super hard, is extremely organized, and has no time to joke around. I can respect that though.

Still runs like a top.I then asked them if they had a used 15 HP electric start for sale.Paul fixed me up with a low hour motor in great shape for a great price.I couldn't be any happier with the service i've received.Simply put, Klaus Marine is now my highly recomended and trusted Marine service dealership.IJ.12/08/2022Just an update on my experience with Klaus Marine.I have had a fantastic summer with my used 15HP motor purchased here.It runs like a top and I couldent be happier.I took it back to Klaus Marine to be winterized and to my surprise the level of attention paid to proper maintenence was awesome.They changed the plugs, oil, tested and adjusted it for maximum performance.On top of that, they cleaned the fuel filter, took of the prop, removed fishing line, replaced the cotter pins, spayed the cylinders with protectant and god knows what else.I am very confident that my motor is in top shape for the next boating season.If you havent already, I highly recomend getting them to winterize your motor instead of doing it yourself.They are the pro's and will do only whatever is necessary to ensure you will have no worries on the water next year.Thanks to Paul and his staff for exceptional customer service which is hard to find nowadays.Five stars again.

I was told that they would ask one of the techs when I arrive to pickup the parts.When I arrived to pick up the parts, the parts were ready and the person behind the desk remembered my call and asked the tech to come out to help me out. The tech took the time to actually help me and gave great advice.It was refreshing to see that they understand that 10 minutes of their time can go a long way.I've found my permanent marine supplier and I highly recommend it for anyone else!
