They even had me bring in a jacket from a friend who passed away and showed me how to properly fix it.If you're new or gaining confidence doing leather, they have kits and patterns and 'how to' books galore. I highly recommend it!!

Violet: I love this store! I recently started buying vintage designer bags and this is where I bought my supplies to restore and repair them. Their prices are reasonable, tons of products to choose from, staff are very helpful and store is very organized. I am now interested in learning leather crafts and I can see myself going to this store more often.

The team was extremely helpful and were even able to set up a class for me on the spot, since it wasn't too busy yet. At first I barely used as having a daily bag was not part of my routine, however, over the last 6+ months I have been bringing it everywhere.As a gift for our 9th Anniversary, I purchased another bag from Hides for my wife. The shipping got delayed quite a few days, but after reaching out on the website chat, they went above and beyond with their service to make up for it and I’m a fully satisfied customer.

Jessica Carlin: I bought one of the mens wallets two years ago for my boyfriend and it still looks great, the leather has become soft to the touch and flexible in the best way possible. This is is longest lasting wallet to date and he has tried all other brands, roots included. This one wears in but doesnt wear out. Totally recommend, especially because it has a lifetime warranty and is canadian made!!

He is very knowledgeable and his focus is for you to learn attention to the important details in the precision and skill of leathercraft. I would recommend him to anyone who is serious about wanting to learn leatherwork. His classes are worth every cent.

I made a card wallet and with easy instructions to follow, made my first leather item! Would definitely come again. They have a wide variety of leathers to choose from for workshops and custom pieces.

York Golz: I called up and spoke with the owner, Don. Very friendly. I am a big frame guy and I need strong belts. He knew what I wanted and had it ready in two days. They mainly make belts, wallets, and leather goods for other companies. But Don said they like it when people call an come in. I bought three belts at a very good price. Well made real leather belts, made local. Remember to support the local manufacturers. I enjoyed the experience and will return to buy more leather goods. Two thumbs up and five stars

JM The Composer: This Mississauga location is the factory only. It's not a retail location and you *cannot* just walk in and browse or purchase individual products.That said, I've gotten a couple of their belts from various sources and can vouch for the quality. It's high end leather all the way though and lasts an extremely long time. It feels very nice and supple. I wore my oldest Keldon belt every day for about 7 years, and even today it is only slightly worn. I only stopped wearing it due to weight loss on my part.Great products. Great quality.
