Marija Bekic: I had the most amazing 4 weeks at GTLS! The teachers are so loving and welcoming. There were also a lot of trips included which was even more entertaining. I think i learned and improved a lot, but not only in my English skills, but also in communicating with others and learning about new cultures. If you want to learn, have fun and experience the impact of other cultures, you should definitely consider going here. GTLS is extraordinary❤️❤️

Olga Terentyeva: I had a great experience preparing for IELTS with GTLS. Amalia was the first teacher who pointed out that intonation matters and affects the score. She also shared some tips for success in the Speaking section. And Drew shared some valuable tips on dealing with the writing and reading sections. As a result, Listening - 7.5, Reading - 8, Writing - 7, Speaking - 8. GTLS - highly recommended.
Lily kwong: After having tutorials that focused on writing skills with multiple tutors and did not achieve the IELTS results I wanted in the past, I thought I would give the GTLS a go due to the reviews on google. Lo and behold, after 5 weeks of private tutorial with Drew, I not only achieved an overall 8 in both the IELTS academic and GT format, but have also achieved the score I wanted in writing.Drew could always explain the concepts clearly, prove excellent tips for writing, and the materials used for practice was very useful. A bonus was that the lessons were always fun.I can keep writing about how good and useful the tutorials were with Drew, but I’ll just Keep it simple and short. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a great tutor to improve their English!

Ethan: Akram is a great teacher and I've learned a lot over the years I've had him, my french is far better than what it was in 2020. The classes focus mostly on grammar and reading comprehension/short answer questions, and the teachers will change their course material to suit your french level as you improve.

Mme. Asma is very kind, prompt and responsive for everyone who calls. Mme. Ourida is my tutor and despite my initial nervousness, she helped me overcome my fears right away and even after one class I already feel so much stronger in my French skills than I did before our lesson. At first you learn about a beauty and the melody of the language then in a very friendly environment step by step you learn to carry on a conversation to be able to communicate and feel the climate which makes you want to learn even more. I took two courses which prepared me well enough to travel to Ecuador and communicate with my friends which made my trip so much more enjoyable . Ved Bhat: I attended the level 1 class in MIssissauga. Javier is wonderful teacher and a friendly person. His methods are effective as he breaks the language down into simple, easy to understand technique for learning. his language calculators are so easy to use. In addition, he spends time explaining culture, historical context etc which really adds value to learning the language. the course material is good and sufficient for a beginner to get on to a new language. I liked the level 1 course and will be going in for level 2 soon.
Leslie-Anne Whitcomb: I recently completed my beginner Spanish 1 coarse with Javier at the Mississauga City Center location. I have decided to enroll into Spanish classes for personal interest. The class had a total of 4 students. The classes are personal and interactive and go at a comfortable pace. There are booklets and videos provided to assist your studying while at home. Javier the instructor has done a fantastic job in providing visuals for all students to help better understand the sentence structures and grammar of Spanish. This was extremely useful as I am a visual learner.I have recently enrolled in the beginner Spanish 2 coarse because I am very interested in continuing my learning with the Barlovento school of Spanish. It has been a wonderful experience and I look forward to going back. I recommend this class to anyone who has an interest in learning Spanish.
C C: Barlovento delivers quality Spanish language training. Javier developped a tremendous curriculum with a strong emphasis on conversational Spanish. Students are expected to study on their own in order to reap the benefits from the lessons.
