I grew up in Sheridan Homelands until I married in 1990. My business experience consists of transportation, law enforcement, and banking.

In 1992, I bought a house in Streetsville. In 1995, I purchased my first dog, then more came. I’ve always had a love and passion for animals. You’ve probably seen me walking or driving in the area I live or service.

Wag-a-tail Pet Sitting has been our “go to” pet sitter for more than 5 years. Doreen has not only provided pet sitting for our 3 cats, but has kept an eye on happenings around the house and alerted us to problems. On one occasion, her quick response saved us from a potentially damaging flood within the house. In a previous snowstorm, Doreen walked from the main road into our street to attend to our cats, because even a four wheel drive couldn’t negotiate the snow banks. Having Doreen as a pet sitter gives us peace of mind when we are away from home for long periods of time.

4worldlovers: I have had pets for most of my life, but dogs are especially close to my heart. My pets have included tropical fish, budgies, mice, a rabbit, a Honduran milk snake, 5 cats and and 12 dogs.

At the peak, my pack included 5 Tosa Inu (Japanese Mastiff) and one English Bulldog, all living freely in the house. I have also raised 4 Tosa litters, 33 pups in total, from whelping to adoption at 8 weeks. Currently I am Mom to a male Tosa named Hachiman, and a female American Bulldog named Riley who was a Dog Tales rescue.

Building upon years of dedication to working with local humane societies and rescues, Meg enjoys fostering whenever she's able to. Meg shares her life with her adorable mutt Wile E Coyote, who has proudly earned her Canine Good Neighbour and Saint John Ambulance Therapy Dog certification.
