Miss Thing's: what do users think?

Liza McLellan: Back in May 2023 we celebrated my parent's 50th wedding anniversary at Miss Thing's. The food and atmosphere were exceptional - everyone was raving about the food. We were able to bring in a small group of musicians who played Hawaiian-inspired cover tunes. Cocktails were also very fun. *Andrew* was particularly great to work with. We highly recommend Miss Thing's for a private party/celebration if you are looking for somewhere special.

Hadeel A: Portions here are actually huge. We didn't realize how big the plates would be, but we were overral satisfied with everything. It was my first time trying a dish with jackfruit, but I loved it. We also got the vegan baos, and those were great too. Honestly, there are no complaints except for the pineapple salad. We didn't like how it tasted. There wasn't anything special about it, it just felt like a bowl of chopped up pineapple. The experience was super pleasan, though. Really enjoyed my time here.

Mark Goldberg: Good location for casual dancing. Was there for a birthday party and it was in the private back room. This might skew the experience because I’m not sure what the main area is like, but the back was fun.Music was good, dance floor was spacious, bar was right there for quick access to drinks. Overall, no complaints about this venue

Serena P.: I went on a Friday night with a friend, and we reserved a table the day before, which I highly recommend you do as the place is smaller than your average. The service was great, but the food is the highlight. We shared everything and the dishes were delicious, no complaints. We got the Tempura corn fritters, poke wonton tacos, guacamame, Kalua pork bao, and the pineapple fried rice and pork belly. The drinks we tried were the Love Bomb and Wakiki Made Me Do It. So so good!! Delicious and will return!!

Purplelectricity Prince Party: A fun Polynesian restaurant with amazing food, outstanding cocktails and dance parties on weekends.

Justine Faye Sison: , our server was friendly and fun. We booked a large group. Communication with Nav and Andrew was clear and prompt. They were able to customize the menu for several different dietary restrictions and communicated which meals were meant for specific individuals. Everyone left with full and happy stomachs! I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Poke Eats Restaurant - Hawaiian Inspired Food & Take Out - North York: what do users think?

Jonny Scoundrel: So I'm all about Poke Bowls, they always seem super refreshing as a meal if that's even possible. This was no different in a good way! Everything about it hit the spot, I couldn't even eat is fast enough!!! Amazing and I will 200% be order from here again!

Alex Power: 11/10 recommendRecommended dishes Poke Eats Bowl, It's Lit …

Frank Kim: My family recently got some take out lunch from Poke Eats. They thought it was very fresh and liked all the choices such as black sushi rice, chopped kale, etc.The family had two minor complaints. First they wish there was a marinated fish option. Second they thought that the portion size was a little small but maybe that's because we are Americans who are used to oversized portions. 😆We would definitely go back if we are in the area again. 👍

Belinda Fu: Great service and portion size! I would suggest coming here before the lunch rush since the line can get pretty long- the service is still fast and attentive. My one call out is I wish they had white ginger instead of the pink one. Definitely a great spot for poke.

Lawai'a Poké: what do users think?

Yunny Hou: $10.95

Nathan Grant: Fantastic food, friendly service, plus an owner who really cares about her customers and employees!I had an extended conversation with one of the staff on my first visit during the pandemic. Not only was he very welcoming, but during the course of our conversation he shared what the owner was doing to help out employees who were struggling. I left with great poke, and my faith in humanity restored. 10/10 would recommend.

Andie: First time trying this place. It’s AMAZING. Feel bad I walked in as soon as they unlocked the doors without noticing but they were ready to go and super friendly and sweet.

Laura Mann: Best poke in the area! 🌞

Marj Wong: Small walk-in joint. Bright and fresh. Food is delicious.

Janis S: Very fresh & delicious fish tacos. Had the tuna & salmon tacos, on soft shells. All prepared quickly in front of you so you can customize spiciness, etc. Limited seating inside, no outdoor seating. Very crowded at lunchtime.

Anastasia Mutaf: I have been here a total of 4 times and every single time the service and the food has been AMAZING. The quality of the food makes up for the price. It is so filling. Will def keep coming back!!

jeff mallari: I got the poke tacos and they were so good, a bit messy to eat but could probably eat 5 of them. Great value but I'm not sure the regular price because I had the TO food passport when I went. But if that was an indication of how good all their regular menu items are then I would definitely East there again.

Lynne Teperman: I am not an expert on poke. I just enjoy what they serve up at Lawai'a enough to have some once or twice a month.

Jessica Weir: First poké was had here. Pleasant surprise!

Alicia Miku: Love the pulled chicken poké! It's a very small place but very delicious for takeout or eating there if you can manage to get a couple seats.

Jomi Jose: A beautiful restaurant with unique options like none other in Toronto. Lazy California is the most popular dish here.

Pokito: what do users think?

John Paul de Silva: Excellent food and good friendly service. Got the Build Your Own which comes with 2 mains, 1-2 sides, and toppings.Have been here several times and the food is always fresh and tasty, particularly their creamy spicy salmon poke. For those with an aversion to spice, I'd say it's on the milder side with just the right amount of kick but I'm also a hot sauce lover. The Hawaiian BBQ chicken is tasty but it's a tad dry and I'd like it more if it was served as a whole piece. The sides, crab salad and mac salad, were fresh as always and not overloaded with mayo. Got crispy onions as a topping to add texture. The hidden star of their food is the base which is garlic brown rice. Very tasty rice and better for you with it being brown.Parking: Usually can find at least one parking on this busy stretch of Queen Street during the mid-day.

D. Alexandra: Best poke bowl ever!Highly recommended

Mehmet Kenan Kanburoglu: we love pokeball
