My coach is friendly, patient, and works collaboratively with me to make incremental adjustments that have improved my confidence and ball striking. Thanks to the video feedback and systematic learning approach, I was able to produce a consistent swing in just a few lessons. Joseph Ambat: Hi Everyone!I truly recommend going to this specific Golftec because they have the best young up and coming master golf coach, Miko Soliman.When I first came to Miko, I had a 230y total distance and a 50y slice with my driver and my score averages within the mid 100's.I recommend Miko as a coach because he is very informative with his lessons and theories on how to better my swing. Miko will hold you accountable on the lessons and he ensures that his students are feeling good and playing good on the course.At the end of my time at Golftec, Miko helped me from scoring in the mid 100's to scoring in the low 80's. He helped me reduce my score by 20+ strokes!
Eric Morris: If you're looking for a great coach, go to Golftec in Meadowvale and ask for Miko Soliman. He brought me from zero swing to playing at Valderrama in the LIV Tour at the end of this coming June; this was after 15 lessons! Ok that's not true. But he's great and the technology is cool, go sign up to improve your understanding of the mechanics of your swing. Jurassic Park.
Alex Cheng: Worked with Ryan for past 6 months. He's really helped me with redeveloping my swing and with my short game. Video replay is nice and the practice sessions are great to work what's been taught. Had my personal best score at Blue Springs recently thanks to the swing changes.
AJ D'Orazio: I can’t say enough great things about Golftec and especially my coach Miko Soliman. From start to finish I felt like a priority to Miko. He didn’t treat me as if I was just another golfer trying to fix their broken swing, but I always felt as if he was going out of his way to make sure that I would get the most out of my lessons. I spent 6 months training with him over the winter, I continue to do so and have plans to continue in the future. He easily could go through the motions with his clients and give them all the same training, but he doesn’t. He fully customized a plan specific to me in order to get the most potential out of me that he could and I felt as if he had no other clients but me, even though this was not the case, he always made the extra effort. I wouldn’t say I am anything close to the golfer that Miko is, but he has given me the confidence to step up to first tee’s and hit a ball just as he would, without any stress in one fluid motion. He has completely changed my game, no joke what so ever, just shot my lowest round of my career, a 74, and I owe it all to him! Would not be striking the ball with such confidence without his help. I recommend Miko to all my friends and I would 100% pursue lessons with him if you have plans to recharge your swing and shoot lowwww this summer!

Dr. Sean Fletch: I have received multiple instruction sessions with Ryan Klassen. Ryan's approach is simple very impactful and easy to incorporate. The facility is tremendous with a practical and very visual practice system that allows me more than adequate time to practice what I learned from my time with Ryan. The entire staff is professional and they all go beyond the expected to make my time in the center fun and practical. I made huge gains in my game that I can relate directly to my time with Ryan and my practice on their video system.
Brian Empey: Ryan, Wil and Kyle make the whole golftec experience well worth it. I have had the opportunity to take lessons from Ryan and his has made great changes to my game and mental toughness on the course. Kyle is the staff member I looked to when I need my Ping irons. Jerry Berenguer: It was a good experience being able to play a game indoor. The instructions were quite easy to follow to start the game. However, the feature showing your full body swing only shows for a few seconds when you hit a good shot. It doesnt even stay long enough for you to see and understand it. It seems useless.

Ryan G: What a beautiful course, amazing views of the surrounding cities. Really spectacular, even if you don’t golf it’s worth a trip up just to look around..But it’s tough. When the wind starts kicking up you really need to be locked in or it could be a long day. Anything too far off the fairway will be punished in deep fescue. Lots of bunkers and undulating greens. A real challenge. But an absolute blast to play.

I booked a putter fitting and arrived on time and they were ready for me.There is no shortage of options to choose from here so you can bet if you don’t know what you want when you walk in the door it’s ok, they will more than likely have something you do by the time you leave.First time doing a fitting and Jake was very good to work with, very clear at explaining everything and making adjustments along the way to certain aspects of my stroke which showed up in the numbers on the quintec camera system for the putters.Needless to say I’ve ordered a putter and will see how it works on the course once I get it, I’m sure I won’t be disappointed. Will definitely recommend this place if you want the best golf advice.Edit: Aug.2023Since my last review about the fitting I have signed up for a 5 lesson pack to try and add more consistency.After three lessons with Mitch I will say I am satisfied with what I have learned so far. It is a fun learning experience and Mitch does an excellent job of explaining what you are doing, what you need to do and most importantly why you need to do it to get the best results from your swings.If you are looking to improve your game while having a good time you can’t go wrong at this place and Mitch is a great person to learn from.

Ginger Wolf: Always in great shape and a fun course to play. It's just far too busy and I felt rushed of the first tee box. And some the of holes they put the blue and whites together which makes it horrible for pace of play. Golf is really becoming unbearable in these post pandemic times.
Robert Oletic: For a city course, it was in great shape. It's actually one of the better courses I've played this year. The staff are super friendly. The fairways and greens are in amazing shape. The pace of play was perfect. Finished in 4 hours and 5 min on a Monday 10:10am tee time.

Vinz Pingol: One of my favourite places to practice my short game. The staff are great people and down to earth. If you mess around on the course, you'll be told without mincing words. A lot of the negative comments about Derrydale are from those who don't respect the course or the game of golf and/or their illegal alcohol was confiscated. The owners are God loving, hard working and honest regular people and expect the same from their golf clients. Thanks for always hosting my family with friendliness.

Dominic Ursino: On a trip back from Australia, decided to revisit a friendly family run golf course that I use to frequent for years. Kudos to the family, for the great course conditions, pleasant scaled down round and reasonable rates. It is nice to see a club making the effort to provide a venue to have a great walk as the world around it grows it, loved seeing all the characters around the course too. So many familiar faces and all those boys that have always been buzzing around the clubhouse for years, were great to see on the course. Will L: Hadn’t played here in years, I think it’s better than I remember.Great 12 hole course in middle of city. Well maintained this year; greens and fairways are in very good shape.A number of enjoyable holes for sure. Not a difficult course, pins were placed fairly, fairways were just wide enough, and tee boxes well placed to make holes within reach for the par value assigned.In other words, it was golfer friendly and owners weren’t trying to unfairly place pins or tees for the crowd this will attract.Definitely for juniors, seniors, newbies, mediocre, and not so picky golfers.Young staffers were very friendly too.I’ll be back shortly for another couple rounds.
Slyck Business: Very nice golf course, good variety for beginnersOwners are very very very nice and accommodating. I’ve gone atleast 20 times this summer and never had a bad interaction with them, always kind.2/3 of the marshalls are nice however one of them always is on a power trip and every time that I have come across this marshall has been a very annoying and pointless interaction.Would be 5 stars but marshall ruins it
