We love our new home but still have family and interests back in South Africa. The protea is the national flower of South Africa and is native to Southern Africa. Therefore, it is not a flower that can be easily obtained at any florist in Canada.But Andie, made it happen. Thank you, Andie. We had agreed that I would e-transfer the funds required for this purchase. I did so. After a day had gone by, I noticed that my e-transfer was not accepted. Her response was that she did receive my e-transfer however she wanted to see the condition of the flowers she was purchasing from the wholesalers before accepting my money. I was impressed. Another retailer may have taken my money before having a look at the flowers.All our discussions around purchasing these items were only done via email. There was no personal interaction so one had to rely on the retailer to deliver what one ordered.
