Adil Chattergoon: "Anyone can fence."After eight months at West End Swords, I can confirm that they truly mean this and put this into practice. I had a number of concerns with myself participating in physical activity, wondering if I would be "up to par" for fencing or whether I would be out of place at the club.All of these concerns were immediately absent on day one. The club is full of people with different body types, level of athletic experience and different backgrounds who are all there to learn, fence and have fun in a welcoming atmosphere. The coaches, Gianfranc, Joey and Ali all embrace a style of teaching that encourages you to explore your strengths and address your own areas of improvement for fencing. Drills and lessons are cooperative, fun and most importantly, you get to apply the lessons you learn each class during open fencing with your classmates. For the beginner session, you can use club equipment so there is no need to make a significant investment from the beginning.From an administrative standpoint, Gianfranc and the other coaches are easily approachable and responsive. It was easy to schedule classes and also contact them with any concerns or issues.If you're undecided about trying fencing, I would highly encourage you to contact the West End Swords coaches and they would be happy to have you watch a class!The September session is coming up and after 8 months of fencing I still can't wait for it.I cannot recommend West End Swords enough for a fun, friendly, supportive and welcoming environment. I'm glad I reached out to try it out and I hope you do too!

Dexter v.L.: I've been fencing at WES for years and highly recommend. The coaches Gianfranc, Ali and Joey are great people and really care about the growth of their students. We also have a good mix of beginners and people who compete so it's a good learning environment!

These maestri really know what they are talking about! Yikes! So impressive! Something also I love about the club is that it is all about love of the martial art and sport of fencing, which is a life long pursuit including the three modern and also some historical fencing weapons

Andre Gagnon: West end swords is a great place to fence. There are student of all levels so it's a good place to learn and develop your fencing skills. The coaches are very knowledgeable and every week we learn about new techniques or strategies. Most importantly, the classes are a lot of fun and are usually the highlight of my week. I recommend this school to anyone.

Manisha Sharma: My daughter recently started fencing lessons at My Fencing Club - Swansea location. She has learned so much so quickly and really enjoys the class. We are so happy with the teaching provided, and my daughter is loving fencing!
Anne Morrone: My son began fencing 5 months ago and I can say that My Fencing Club - High Park has been a great encouraging learning environment. A good balance between competitiveness and sportsmanship. Fencing is like a physical game of chess and a great skill for young minds. I highly recommend this fencing school and it's commitment to creating excellent fencers.

My son has participated in many different sports like taekwondo, tennis, basketball etc. Yet this fencing club has always been a Favorite of his.
