Tom Stavri: A really incredible hidden gem in the industrial/commercial area of the city. The food is a unique treat in a city that otherwise doesn't have many options for Indonesian/Malay food. Top quality dishes are served with passion by very pleasant owners, all at an affordable price.The only warning I would give to some people is that the seating area is very small, so it might not be a good idea to plan on dining in with a large group of people or if you were expecting a place with a fancy atmosphere as it's extremely casual. Aside from that, I would highly recommend it and would consider it one of the best food establishments in the city.

Must be patient waiting for the food to be served.They also have Insonesian beverages and snacks to buy such as es cendol, teh botol, and kacang atom.

Viresh Mistry: Love this cute little place. Didn’t go as much during the pandemic but after a couple years I decided to take my daughters last night and amazingly enough they remembered me. Got a pleasant traditional bow and welcome. Food is amazing. Great value for money and the staff are so friendly. My kids loved it - the private little booths, the mellow music and little chatter from the other customers just added to the experience. Not loud and busy like the other places. Highly recommended.

It's the first place I have ever dined at that asked the table if we had any food allergies or dietary resteictions. I thought that was a great touch to the service.It is also pricy for the amount of food. It is tapas style. I would only go back for special occassions.The only thing that was disappointing was the online menu doesn't match the in-house menu and they no longer served the item I wanted and the online menu still hasn't been updated almost a month later.

Roberto Martinez: First time here. Had dinner with wife and friends.We ordered a lot of dishes to share amoungst us. Food was tasty and at times spicy but I loved it. Kimchi rice was my favorite.Some of the portions seemed small for the price.Good friendly service and clean washrooms.

Katie No: Tried out Bonsai on a night out in Port Credit and really enjoyed our time ! We shared the soft shell crab and ordered the kimchi fried rice and sous vide duck. The portions are huge and very shareable, all the dishes were tasty but our favourite was the black sesame creme brûlée ! The restaurant was very picturesque and staff were kind and attentive !

The food was really delicious, the atmosphere was nice and the service was really great. We ordered the shareable appetizer platter which was huge, the kimchi rice and the hot stone wagyu. The cocktails were also very good. I would recommend everything!
