General music programs offer a wonderful introduction to the world of music in a social and creative group environment. In the classes, children play, move, dance, sing, and bang on instruments, all while developing musical skills and enjoying the company of others their age.


Performance is important in music as a vital medium for the expression of the human spirit. Mississauga School of Music is committed to providing the highest standard in piano, guitar, violin, vocal, flute, ukulele, cello, and theory lessons. We also offer preschool music lessons and art lessons.

Our music lessons are for children ages 5+ with preschool music lessons for ages 4.5 and 5. We offer special lessons for adults.

The majority of our teachers have BA, MA, or Ph.D. Degrees in Music, professional teaching experience, are Ontario Registered Music Teachers and are Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Affiliated Teachers.

Since 1994, many of our students have earned the highest RCM marks in Ontario and in all of Canada. Our students and alumni are music scholarship recipients and have performed at the Living Arts Centre, Rose Theatre, FirstOntario Arts Centre, Glenn Gould Studio, and Carnegie Hall.

Our students recognize that our prices are fair and that they receive exceptional value through high-quality teaching and personal service. Our music school consistently surpasses the RCM national average score because we build a solid foundation in music education which allows our students to excel at their respective musical instruments.

Many students who choose to pursue music academically have received admissions to music programs at the University of Toronto, McGill University, Tisch School of the Arts, and more.

We offer dance classes in ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, acro, lyrical/contemporary, as well preschool and toddler classes.


We offer private music classes such as piano, guitar, voice, violin, flute, clarinet, ukulele and drums lessons, preschool piano program , history and harmony, we prepare students for Royal Conservatory of Music Exams, as well as festivals and competitions.

We offer art classes in drawing, painting, cartooning, portfolio preparation as well as kinder art classes for preschoolers.

Our music lessons are designed for complete beginners and also for students who are looking to participate and get ready for exams and music festivals.


Participating in music competitions, festivals, and RCM Examinations is optional but is encouraged to build confidence for our students.


All of our students are welcome to participate in our school recitals. We organize them twice a year. Everyone can participate and show what they have learned. It is a good chance to play in front of parents and guests. Opportunity to get the experience of playing on a big stage.
