Kevin Olfert: Kelley came over to inspect my chimney. We had a water leak and a roofing company had recommended chimney work first. Kelley imspected the chimney, and thought the chimney was okay, then recommended 2 companies the could install a chimney saddle and fix or change the flashing. He could have sold me not needed chimney work, but he did not. So if I need chimney work in the future, who do you think I will call? A1 Quality Chimney. Thanks Kelley.

I called A1 and they were able to come on the same day and on time. Jacob who did the cleaning was professional, courteous and did a great job cleaning out a nest and some dead squirrels. He cleaned up and told us the issue was our cap so animals can get in. No pressure to get a new cap which we did anyway. Michael Kohn: As a winter holiday gift, my wife hired A1 to inspect & clean the wood burning fireplace in our 1929 home, which we had never used because we were concerned about its age & that, on the other side of the wall, there is a gas burning fireplace. Their service was prompt & effective: the technician cleaned the chimney & had the fireplace working when he left. Over the holidays, we noticed that some smoke sometimes backed up & out of both fireplaces. When we called to inform them, A1 immediately sent a technician to troubleshoot the issue. The tech thoroughly checked both fireplaces, took photos of the inside of the chimneys, and consulted with another A1 professional over the phone. They determined that drafts in our old home were affecting the draw & came up with an effective solution. Although A1 had been officially closed for over an hour by the time they were done, they did not charge us for the follow-up visit. Last night, we enjoyed a beautiful, room-warming fire, without the smokiness we had previously experienced. Kim Eisinger: 2 very polite professional young men showed up to clean both our chimneys. They brought all necessary supplies including a drop cloth to catch any soot and debris that could fall out. They explained very thoroughly what they were going to be doing and then the results. After they checked and cleaned the inside part of the chimneythey had to go up to the roof to have a look from the top. They took video and photos of where my chimney is breaking down from wear and tear over the years. I appreciated their honesty that it could probably wait until spring to fix. Once returning inside the house they took their shoes off before entering and wore covid 😷 masks. These guys were able to answer all my questions.The office staff when I called to book was very sweet and offered a discount right away. I did some checking around and their price was very competitive.I spoke to the owner himself by accident one evening when I called and to my surprise he was so incredibly nice and such a happy decent person. Turns out he's been in the business for almost 30 years its his family business owned and operated by him and just a few others. He takes great pride in his business and it shows. Billy was eagar to answer all my questions and left me feeling like I could call on him.again if I got into trouble with my fire making again. Truly a kindand wise person.
