The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable & enjoyable stay. Just pack an overnight bag & stock up on some groceries to make the most of your stay.

The cabin in the woods is the newest addition on our land, built in June 2021.

The inside measures aprox. 224 square feet, has a queen size bed, 2 nightstands, a storage chest filled with extra blankets, a mini fridge with freezer, a 1 burner propane stove (portable for use indoors or outside), 10 gallons of fresh water, a folding table and 2 chairs (for indoor dining) an outhouse with composting toilet (separate from the cabin), a rustic outdoor shower and so much more.

The cabin is equipped with everything you need to have a very comfortable, relaxing "glamping experience" in the middle of the woods. There is a small space to prepare meals, two small dining tables and seating for two (inside and outside).

Guests can bring children, and or other guests if they wish. There is room for 1-2 tents on the site. Extra fee is charged for more than 2 guests.

Guests may be visited by many wood creatures such as rabbits, squirrels, lots of different birds, deer, frogs, fireflies, etc...

This cabin holds a special place in both our hearts as this is where Mike and I were married July 2021.

This site is a zero waste site, meaning guests are encouraged to take all their waste home when checking out. For this reason, we recommend packing efficiently to reduce the amount of waste you produce during your stay.

For an extra fee of $5.00 per bag, guests may choose to leave their garbage behind. Extra large contractor bags will be charged $10.00 per bag. Please let us know if you plan on choosing this option. Do not leave garbage outside or in the Cabin. Fee is charged on checkout.

If you are looking for a unique winter experience, please don't hesitate to inquire.

Although the cabin has a solar system, the batteries don't like the cold and often don't hold a sufficient charge to run the mini fridge in the cabin. Guests visiting during winter are encouraged to bring a cooler and a portable power bank for charging devices.

The cabin is heated by a small wood stove. Supplemental heat is also provided by a direct vent propane wall heater. Guests should know how to start a fire in a wood stove prior to booking.

Guests are encouraged to bring slippers and warm clothes during the colder months. We provide two 30 lbs propane tanks, which is more than enough for a 2-3 day stay.

Cell service is excellent at this location for those on the Rogers network.

If you run out of propane during your stay due to mindful neglect, you will be charged a refill fee of $40.00 for us to come out and provide you with a full tank of propane.

Located in the middle of the woods, it's just a short ride or hike away from where guests park.

Guests cannot drive to the cabin. We offer a private shuttle service by side-by-side to all our guests. Last shuttle provided is 6pm. Some exceptions may apply. Please discuss this with us before booking.

We meet and greet with all guests to ensure get the most out of their stay at the cabin.
