Maaz Muhammad: HSL is a wonderful library and probably the most joyous one on campus. It provides a diversity of services, like the librarians aiding in literature searches, and a diversity of experiences: the measured liveliness around the desktops of the second floor, the hushed quietude of the cubbies on the first floor, and the picturesque serenity of the glass room. My only reason for dropping a star off the review is the fact that there is no direct entrance to the first floor of the library, and patrons have to make the Sisyphean journey of walking up the stairs only to walk down another set of stairs. Surely, this is an accessibility concern as well, as those using the elevator have to traverse two sets of elevators just to go from the first floor of the HSC to the first floor of HSL. This is easily the most common complaint against the library; other than that, HSL is great.
Phillip L: Proper library that is quiet enough and has a self-studying area downstairs that is brightly lit facing many windows. Miles ahead of Thode's silent study area which is dark and depressing. The open glass atrium is also a plus.
Ranveer Reehal: Good place to study, super serious mood though. Not as good as thode 🙂
Austin Moellers: Health Sci is my favorite library on campus to study at. It has a reputation for being quiet that it holds up to day in and day out. It's a shame it closes earlier than most other libraries. The reason for the duduction of a star is for the reason that Hsl does not provide cleaning wipes. Although it is relatively cleanly I don't think I should be required to bring my own wipes to avoid getting a sickness left by the person before me.

Yesenia Perez: It is very beautiful and it is a pleasant place, with people who support you in what you are going to do. I recommend the afternoons of movie screenings or the reading circles, much more so if you are learning English.You can process the credential at the entrance and they give it to you the same day. You can take books or movies home and also use the computer equipment.

Sophie V: It’s a public library and, being downtown, it means that it does more than just provides books and a quiet place for the community. It means it provides temporary shelter from the elements and a place to charge a phone or access the internet to some people who don’t have that elsewhere. So, yes, the first floor isn’t very quiet—people can be loudly speaking on the phone even—but if that bothers you, the other floors are usually more quiet.Collections are great. There’s natural light in plenty of places, and a variety of seating options. Wifi is reliable.The librarians are all super nice and friendly, and the HPL network is very active, they have a bunch of events so don’t forget to check that out too.
Krutang Patel: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The Hamilton library is simply amazing! It's the biggest library I've ever been to, with a fantastic collection of books. The best part is the availability of numerous computers for public use. As a video creator, the green room is an absolute gem for me. It's a perfect space to shoot videos, and the fact that it's free to use is unbelievable. The library offers a wide variety of books, catering to all interests and age groups. Whether you're a bookworm, a student, or a content creator, this library has it all. Highly recommended for anyone in Hamilton!

Book selection is fine, the only thing I find it's lacking is the graphic novels section, but everything else is well-stacked and the self service tech is really good

TRIZKITZ BIZKITZ: great location. next to tim Hortons. can rent movies ad video games. drop box out side for convenience of closure times. acouple of benches to relax outside in the sun once you step out. newly renovated roof. board room can hold groups and meetings. friendly insightful staff. great location just a short bike ride away from surrounding around. mobi bikes available out front.

Joy SGC: for at least 6 months. It was a classic compendium of mystery stories, and I didn't want to return it without reading it fully from cover to cover. My busy work schedule and Pokemon Go had prevented me from doing so in the past.On walking through the door, I greeted the Service person. She was grace personified and renewed it within no time. A big load was off my shoulders. And I walked out triumphantly with the book in my hand. The whole experience took less than 5 minutes.Extraordinary service indeed.!Would highly recommend visiting this Library multiple times.😘

Katie Cowles: This is my favorite library. It's always clean, stocked very well, and I love how the whole second floor is a dedicated children's area. It still has the "classic" feel to it, where most other Hamilton libraries have been completely renovated to look modern. Highly recommend!

Barry Carr: I've had good times and good memories here with my wife and newborn son. They have a wide assortment of reading materials....and of course a large amount of children's books...and nice areas are provided to play with children. The library is well taken care of and very clean!

Brittany Hurem: Great place for keeping kids busy; love their toy and activity selection and all the amazing activities and events things they offer like craft carts, contests and seek and find searches! My kids both got a book for finding pictures around the library. We love it!

Ozymandayas- -Kami: Libraries feel like their own world, but this one even more so.Coming off a busy two way street the you first notice the difference in temp and noise.High ceilings, large windows and an open-plan gives off lounge vibes.Warm colours, Intimate corners and great staff make you think you just followed a cat down a winding side street to a secret little bookshop.Mind is engaged, body is relaxed, and the soul is fed10/10 doctors and me recommend here...

Kay Race: Is my favorite Library. The upstairs has lots of space for kids to play and learn and lots of toys and interactive Centres. There are also many events and programs to take part in and the storytime is very good. The Librarians are very friendly and helpful as well. They really put in an effort and seem to love their jobs.
S: Wonderful location and Great service. However unfortunately there is no designation for Slient study. I would much appreciate the old school shhhhhh.

Andria Hexx: to bring home.Still, you can order from any library and pick up/return at whatever branch is convenient, so you can access 1000's of books without having to go far!I think Hamilton has a superb library system, there's a great range of content and even new or popular items they have enough copies that you rarely wait long for a hold.All HPL's I've visited are clean and very organized, and this is no exception. Very bright & spacious, its only 2 floors but there's an elevator for wheelchairs strollers etc.Staff are super nice & will help you find a section, recommend a great book or help with copier or computers.I wish they had a few more comfy chairs, a table/desk is ok for work/study, but doesn't make me want to relax & get lost in a book! I'm sure space and cleaning protocols are part of it too though.A nice way to spend a few hours...free Wi-Fi, you can plug in for power, use a computer and they always have different activities for people of any age.Don't bring a drink or food they don't allow
Taylor Bredenhof: Thankful to have a library in Sherwood. I only stayed on the lower level but i wouldn’t say it has the greatest options for private studying. As others mentioned it is noisy for a library, all sorts of classes were coming through and the staffs conversations amongst themselves or with visitors are all very audible. That will affect some more than others.

Marky Mark: Great staff. Very helpful. Unfortunately, there are sometimes a few "unsavory characters" frequenting this establishment. Occasionally, they are rude to staff, who patiently endure the bad behavior. They are certainly more understanding than I would be.
