Ignite (formerly Burlington Synchro) has been “Developing Champions for Life” for nearly 50 Years! Our volunteer-run non-profit club offers numerous full-year or sessional recreational programs, themed summer camps as well as a full-season competitive environment. Our club’s overall goal is to inspire athletes of all ages and abilities to achieve their full potential as artistic swimmers and whole individuals in life. Our values include Excellence, Sportsmanship, Teamwork and Work Ethic.

Jean Tong: My daughter is in her fourth year swimming for the Burlington Synchronized Swimming Club. She has not only grown as a swimmer, but as an athlete. The skills she has gained in goalsetting, problem solving, healthy living and mindfulness are amazing. The club has a real focus on the whole athlete!
Lrh Lrh: My daughter has been swimming with Burlington Synchronized Swimming Club for six years. Not only this is an excellent sports, she has learned so much about perseverance, teamwork, work ethic and more. These are all valuable lessons for life. She has made friends along the way and they have been supporting each other all this time. I am so happy BSSC is part of her life and has been helping her become a strong young woman. Yes there are volunteer work required for parents, but nobody should just take without giving. Actually parents have made friends too since our girls have been swimming together for so long.
Tanis Dal Zotto: We have had the best experience with BSSC. Our daughter started with the recreational program and is now a competitive athlete. She has learned about teamwork, sportsmanship, how to work hard, how to deal with disappointment and success. She has made friends and it keeps her active and healthy!
Monique Garon: I have been involved with BSSC for 11 years and have loved every second of it. The programs were fun and challenging and taught me teamwork, organization, and time management. The coaching staff have been great and supportive throughout my years and have consistently provided opportunities for leadership and development to all their athletes. I would highly recommend BSSC BEST as a great place to learn, grow, and develop as an athlete and as a person!
Rachel Hisey: I swam for Burlington synchro for around 10 years and I had an amazing experience. My teammates became my sisters and the coaches were some of my greatest role models. We work hard and we have fun!
Celia MacKenzie: I became involved with BSSC this year after 13 years with another club. The coaches, families, and executive are all such lovely people. The swimmers are positive, inclusive and excited to learn and work hard. I am very grateful to be a part of this club. If you're looking for a fun, safe, encouraging atmosphere for your child/athlete, BSSC is definitely the place for you. I look forward to many more years here and to one day enroll my daughter/son in their programming! Three cheers for the B!!
Elly Van Fleet: My daughter has been in their rec program for three years now and she loves the programming. Always excited to go and she loves her instructor. Her coach is fun and encouraging!
Jodie Near: , but she has also become well-rounded young woman. At 12-years-old, she now trains more than 16 hours a week on a high performance competitive team and has developed exceptional organizational, time management, and problem solving skills. The more she trains, the more she succeeds at school.Burlington Synchro encourages all athletes to give back to their community. My daughter has personally raised more than $4,000 for Breast Cancer Research through the club's Burning Bright campaign.All sports have risks for injury, and synchro is no different. Safety is a priority to the club, with all competitive athletes undergoing mandatory baseline concussion testing each year prior to the start of the season.The club is run by a volunteer board of directors and the athletes train with paid coaches and subject matter experts.

The Family: Amazing pool. Also has grrat rec and youth programs. Including summer camps. Highly recommended pool.
Milica T.: Excellent pool and everything is clean and tidy, the staff is outstanding. The parking lot is smaller, but there is a place to park in the surrounding streets.

Mary: The pool is very well kept and clean, and staff are amazing. I swim there every weekday. One of the best parts, the pool is always at the right temperature. This is a well staffed pool with friendly swimmers.EDIT: This is my all time favourite pool in Hamilton. I wish I could swim in the early morning here around 6 or 630. I find it difficult to leave work mid day, swim and come back. I would gladly swim here every day if they changed their hours. I cannot day enough good things about this pool and staff.

Blue Orchid: The pool was clean and warm, with no real deep end but a great pool for kid's not so much for swimming laps a really nice new pool .

Tree Shop (Tree): I do the Water fit class 3 x a week...the only complaint I have is the Water fit instructor on Mondays has no energy for teaching this class....she walks through everything on the slow motion button...and skips things....I really don't know why she is teaching this class when she acts like she doesn't want to be there.....the instructor who is there on Wednesday and Friday is awesome....she makes you want to work it.... thanks for her on Wednesday and Thursday....she is totally awesome...

Cori McTaggart: Very good place to swim! Clean, friendly, and well supervised.
Linda McKaig: Went for a swim for added exercise. The water was warm and easy to get into. The only downfall is that you have to book a spot online in advance. I don't believe they have walk-ins.
Pedro Henrique Quedinho: Place is good, but water is cold and AC was on when the temperature already was already cold. Please warm up the water for the kids swimming classes
