Play with Clay-Locke st.: what do users think?

Olivia Stahlmann: Had a great experience at Play With Clay! Staff are welcoming and very friendly, went with my friend to paint pottery had lots of fun. I am not giving five stars however due to the pricing. On the website it says pricing for painting would be $15-$40 and not a single ceramic was under $25. Pricey but had a fun day and overall energy of the place was great, customers and staff are all very friendly!

Gabrielle Griffith: Loved this place, got lost in the clay and I can’t wait to go back

Khadra Mohamed: THIS place is a must visit for any art lover looking to dip their toes into the clay scene!! Booked a wheel throwing beginner lesson and Heidi made the experience amazing! She was super patient and really walked me through the whole session, even after I had arrived late!! She really made the session so much fun! Thanks Heidi! Definitely ended up looking for more classes to join. The rest of the staff were super sweet and truly made the place such an inviting place!! Definitely drop by you won’t regret it! I don’t drop reviews quite often but had to for this place!

Taskin Anha: It was super fun with my daughter. For the Art lovers , i would recommend this place to spend quality time with friends and family

Ninja Spade (Weeb): Was such a fun and fantastic experience ive never tried pottery before but cristina i believe her name was? was so patient and fun teaching me how to do it hahah thank you so much very excited to come back and paint

Alex Trottier: Did a wheel class and then pained the pieces I made. Overall super enjoyable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend

Marco: Did the throwing class with Britney and it was the best time. The instruction was so helpful and I was really happy with everything we made. Such a great date night activity

Johnny Kennedy: It's always a pleasure to come here, hangout, and paint some pottery. The staff are super helpful, and the whole vibe is just chill and relaxed. A great date night or even just a hangout! The selection of pottery to paint is always rotating, last time I even painted a nice bonsai pot.

Corey Pearce Percussion: Great staff, good prices and awesome opportunities for a child you express themselves creativity.

Myke Ames: So much fun, and the staff is super helpful!

Erine Haveman: We had a wonderful time for the birthday party! Daniella was kind and helped us learn how to make clay pots. She had patience with us, and will definitely go back!

Crock A Doodle Stoney Creek: what do users think?

Wigs,Toppers and Hair by Sylvia S W: Awesome.

Alyssa Stanley: We really enjoyed our experience. My son is 2 years old and sat for an hour painting his dinosaur. He enjoyed picking the sculpture to paint and the colours.

Lynda Hugessen: Such a fun thing to do with Kids, Grandkids or friends. Highly recommend this creative place.

Heidi: I love going here. A bit pricey for sure but it's an experience too so it can be justified a bit more.Staff is always helpful.I just wish the brushes were better quality for painting detailed work.

Theresa M: This has become a family tradition! The staff are friendly, helpful and patient. The service is excellent and the time spent together enjoying and sharing our creativity is so precious.

Lisa Scott: Be it a girls get together, a child's party or if you just really love ceramics, then this is the place you wanna check out. Affordable, fun and the best part is you are the artist. Cost effective and truly a great place to allow your creative side to run loose. One of my favourite places to come and destress.

Chris Coughler: My kid had a blast painting her butterfly and asks to go back when we drive by .

Logan Ciancio: A fun activity for a rainy day or to make a present, wide variety of things to paint, quick turn around for getting the ceramics back. Will be returning!

Krystal Caradonna: We had such an amazing time! Friendly and helpful staff. Kids had a blast. Can't wait to go back!

Lynn and Carla T: We had a wonderful experience today at Crock A Doodle. Our 11 month old had a blast painting, including painting herself lol.The women working, forgive me can’t remember her name, was so helpful, friendly, professional, and warm that made to experience that more enjoyable. We will definitely be back as they have so many wonderful thing to paint, and enjoy for many years. Everyone need to try Crock A Doodle once and you’ll love it!

Dundas Valley School of Art: what do users think?

Steve Sharpe: Recently took a watercolour course. The course and instructor were both very good. learned alot and had fun.

Ahmed Tarek Elsayed: One of the most amazing places for both adults and kids. My child is really enjoying her time there in the first art class with Sandy. I too enjoy my time there to be honest 🎨🎨😍😍

Emilia Smith: . Photos are of pieces I've made :

Laura Wagner: The facilities and classes are fantastic. Most of the Instructors are knowledgeable and engaging.A great place to go to get together with a community of artists from all levels. As a beginner, I never felt out of place or unwelcome.

Shelby Broughton: Really enjoyed it there

Michael Webber: I did the glass blowing with Paull Rodriguez and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I watched Blown Away and wanted to try it and I was able to learn how to do it and make some cool pieces. Loves it and will do it again soon. Thank you so much Paul and Rob that was great

George Olds: Juried student art show is on until the end of May. One of my pieces was accepted.

Chris Honcoop: Well layed out easy to maneuver around

Emily Donovan: Great staff. Lovely building. Creative space. Pricey.

Krysia Steinberg: The one-day stained glass course making a bird was excellent. The instructor provided all the materials and was quite knowledgeable. These was a selection of bird patterns and stained glasd to choose from. Once our projects were complete, we were able to take them home.

Lesley Verspaget: My kids and I have all enjoyed classes here. Your experience can depend a lot on the instructor you get but in general it's a really fun place. The kids loved the cartooning class and I have enjoyed both drawing and painting classes. Many of the students seem to be quite accomplished artists and its as much fun to watch the other students as it is to work with the instructors. I would be inclined to take more classes if they provided a little more actual instruction in technique but never-the-less I would definitely recommend you try a class as it's most enjoyable. For myself, I am now a student of studio art and art history at the University of Guelph. Learning a great deal more effectively.

Melanie Maccarrone: Positive:ProfessionalismMy two boys love going to summer camp and March break at this school! Very fun, professional, inviting, well organized & respectable Art School! Highly recommended for kids that want to express them selves in a creative way.

Hamilton Craft Studios: what do users think?

Anita Herrmann: What a fantastic place! I love the space and the people. A great place to be creative and explore new projects.

Myke Ames: Supplies and tools for almost any kind of activity you want to do. Staff are super helpful and kind.

Kyla Leslie: Wonderful Studio, super friendly and helpful instructors, had a blast at the workshop I took. Looking forward to my next visit!

Pascal Bennett: I had a fantastic experience at a Block Printing Workshop. Just awesome. So happy this is in Hamilton.

Rose Usenica: The environment is friendly and chill. The club experiences so far have been exactly the right mix of casual and crafty.

inez genereux: I took a class here in October and had one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. I was worried that since i had very little experience using the machines I would be out of my league. The class instructor Joe made myself and the rest of the class feel totally secure and empowered to to make our work. The facilities are absolutely beautiful and have a wonderful energy in them. Something Joe said in particular made me feel so confidant in what we were doing. He said it didn't matter how many questions we asked or how many times we had to ask them, and that us being new to something or having questions or making mistakes had nothing to do with our value as people, and that we were all valuable and brave for coming to a class and trying something we maybe hadn't done before. I can't express how much this meant to me and how it gave me the confidence to pursue wood working. I cannot wait to come back.

Gigi Gedney: and stations for artisans. Wonderful learning space and memberships available.

Robert Cash: Just finished the frame-making course with Joe and I have already signed up for more courses! Joe is a great and patient instructor, answering lots of questions and providing more context and details about what we were doing and why. Lots of leverageable lessons learned thanks to Joe. The space is fabulous and I learned a lot. I will be back for more!

L Ed: What a great introduction for me to some basic woodworking fundamentals in this weekend’s frame-making study [“A Proper Frame”]. I went in with no knowledge of how to make the frame, but came away with a good understanding, lots of hands-on time, as well as the frame that i made for the work i wanted to frame. I really value the way that the course was taught: straightforward, knowledgeable, attentive and approachable guidance from Joe, our instructor. I am looking forward to exploring more courses here, thank you for the course offering, it was excellent.

Brady Kemp: I took the Kitchenware course with Joe and had a blast! The instruction was great for all skill levels, and the shop environment couldn't be better. Overall, a great shop with great people, I have already booked my next class!

Milan Vukosavljevic: I'm just finishing off my first course at HCA, and it's been such a great experience. So much so, that I've already signed up for my second one. Joe has been an excellent instructor as he quickly alleviated any beginners anxiety I may have had and did a wonderful job introducing us to the many tools we used throughout the course. The space itself is also great. Lots of room to do ones work in. I can't recommend HCA enough.

Tessa Orlowski: I have now taken two semesters of clay wheel throwing with Rhonda as my teacher. She is patient, kind and helpful. In two semesters I have learned so much and had fun in her classes!During both semesters I used the option to enroll in studio time and typically go every Sunday. The studio is always clean and well stocked.Katia, the owner of Creative insight is always quick to respond to my inquiries and offer assistance when needed.I would recommend Creative Insight Pottery to anyone no matter their skill level. Thanks to our wonderful teacher, Karla, who gave me some great tips. “Creativity is contagious, pass it on.”

Deborah Shantz: A place for community members to gather and discover your inner artist be it painting, clay works or drawings. You are in there, come out and be inspired.

Christine Fredricks: Started my first semester this fall, I love this studio. Feels authentically artistic, I have been to other studios that feel very commercialized. This place honestly feels like home with the best inspiration, I feel welcome.. all members are super friendly. This is my forever place!

Monica Rodrigues: What a fun night! Our teacher Lindsay was pleasant, encouraging and made mistakes seem easy to correct.Excited for our finished projects. Highly recommend for a night out!

Peggy KING-GEROMETTE: Paul is an astute, knowledgeable, patient teacher who gives every student his personal attention. If classical, Old Masters style is what you want, I cannot believe you would find a better place to learn.

M. Filice: Oil painting in the tradition of old masterse like Da Vinci and Caravaggio has made an historical comeback, thanks to teachers like Paul and the other academic schools of John Angel Atelier.

Angie Armstrong: Lovely artisan store. Quality work. Will definitely be visiting again.

Amanda Veglia: Another Hamilton gem! After trying a few spots, the Store is now my go-to for high quality, all natural beeswax candles. They have excellent beeswax taper, pillar and jar candles.

Dan Jelly: I sell my products there so this 5-star review is a slight conflict of interest. That said, the pottery is lovely and I had nothing to do with it so you can trust that it's good. It's all local and hand made. The people are friendly and knowledgeable, the shop owner is a talented potter.

Michael Abrametz: Great place for pottery!

hansa Singh: Visited STORE for the first time and they have very unique and amazing pottery and books collection. If around the corner, do visit this store.

Brandon Church: The selection of books, pottery and other goodies is excellent and the owners are the kind of people you want to know/be friends with! Thank you for being everyone's friendly neighbour!

Michael Demone: A beautiful shop where every item is a work of art. Wonderful people too! Shop local and support local artists!

Ash Allsop: I've visited STORE on several occasions each time for a cup, I would highly recommend their cups and petting the dog that's occasionally there long and slow.

Jim Harvie: Engaging owner let me make a 5 minute transaction a pleasant 20 minutes. Looking for a quirky gift? Come to the store

Mark Woodley: Nice Store for the book lover and anyone looking for unique gift items featuring Hamilton city neighbourhood prints, Hamilton HSR and related city prints, jewelry, glass and of course handmade pottery. Practical & functional or just decorative ceramics available by local artists. Currently there is a striking piece of ceramic sculpture in their showroom. Prices vary depending on the item. Friendly staff whose expertise is in ceramic arts. Limited parking available in the surrounding area.

D Crawford: I hope this store is closed as I walk James St. Because when it is not, I hear those frivolous, shopping demons calling! A great store to indulge your pottery addiction! CW Pots knows my style! Not yet an addict? Go in and you'll know what I suffer from! Try and leave without purchasing! I dare you!

Cheryl-Ann Hills, Artist: what do users think?

Jess Biggs: Cheryl-Ann is a great art teacher! I take her online classes and everything is really in detail and it’s easy to follow along.

Daphne Pretty: Cheryl-Ann is amazing! I had a complex design I needed for some wearables and she did a fantastic job! My customer had a clear idea what she wanted. Cheryl-Ann worked on the design until she created exactly what the customer wanted! I had a lot compliments from the work place. Cheryl-Ann gets back to you very quickly and her work is excellent! I highly recommend Cheryl-Ann for all your graphic design projects.

James VanderBerg: needed to recreate all its promotional materials, we approached Cheryl-Ann Hills. It's been amazing to work with her, and our Annual Report and program brochures look incredible! She communicates both clearly and consistently, and the end result had a look that was both professional and captured the feel of our community centre. It was a great experience all the way around!

Rob Knight: I have been working with Cheryl-Anne for a while now and have been very pleased. She responds quickly to requests and has consistently delivered projects on time. I would certainly recommend her to anyone looking for high-quality graphic design services.

Cathy Hendrickson: Cheryl always does an amazing job for us! She is creative and quick to get artwork back to us right away! We are always very pleased with the work she provides to us!

Debbie Dunne: Wow just purchased one of Cheryl's reusable bags with her beautiful art on it. This sturdy natural canvas bag with roped handles is beautiful on its own but when you marry it up with Cheryl's beautiful art it just makes it that much nicer. Think Christmas gifts. #supportlocalartists #lovelocal #giftgivingidea

Pavlo Pottery: what do users think?

Bernie B Benson: Me and my lovely wife Bridget received these two gems as a gift from the wonderful Pavlo Pottery a few years ago….. it was from my thoughtful granddaughter 😊…! I really recommend this beautiful little shop, lots of trinkets, and all sorts of goodies…😊 I really adore this lovely place, as I’ve viewed here before a couple years prior…. Me and my lovely wife went to this shop shortly after we celebrated my parents 50 years of marriage… and we got them some of the pottery cups😊.. thank you Pavlo Pottery for your impeccable service and beautiful items….

Bougie: Wonderful little gem of a store. A beautiful sent of Canadian burning insence welcomed us inside. Like an art museum with treasures and jewels for everyone. Unique hand-made loving pieces of art in every corner. Cards, soaps, and candles. We stopped on the way from Hamilton just outside Cambridge. A happy to help salesperson found us the "grow your own mushrooms" we came specifically for. We got the last one, but more are on the way!

Gundy Hajcman: I just received the platter I ordered. I love it. Such great work. Worked with Sarah, who set it aside for me, once it was complete. Thank you, Sarah. 😊

Try their products out you definitely won't be disappointed.
