Started with a positive experience 15 years ago when I booked ponies for a party.I had great prompt customer service from Ashleigh for a our booking this time.Dave and Chyanne the pony came to our party location.they were punctual, friendly, patient and so much fun. Had a luau themed party and Chyanne was dressed for the part. While some of the kids were intimidated and shy, Dave and Chyanne were pleasant and helpful. So all the kids enjoyed just seeing and being around her!Dave walked her in and around giving an introduction and for everyone a chance to see her, then provided some time for photos!Definitely would recommend and use the service againThanks again for everything!

Mariam Sutarwala: Cuteness overload.Excellent space for kids birthday parties and other events.Their Shetland ponies were so kind and so gentle with the kids and adults alike. I was in love. After rides we got a chance to feed them, pet them and basically shower them with so much love.Besides the pony attraction, there was a large grassland area where all the birthday festivities were set up. The venue provided a ton of space to accommodate a few 100 folks at the least, including multiple food and icedcream trucks.I gave them 4 stars because besides the pony rides I didnot see any other attractions for the kids if it's open for day use walk ins.

Duaa Emad: My daughter had an amazing time at this awesome farm. I wanted to thank Nicole for helping my daughter and my daughter's horse Missy. They teach kids how to groom the horses, tack them up just in case when our kids grow up they want to buy a horse. My daughter has rode the english way but it was great for my daughter to learn western there too. Their was a cute little dog and the dog's name was Sunny. I highly recommend this farm and I am definitely going back there.

The lesson has a strong focus on animal care and respect, which is also evident in every aspect of their farm and programs offered.When we began, we reached out about pony rides as my daughter wanted to ride, but wasn't sure about a big horse just yet. Each pony ride we attended included the work before and after the ride. They teach the kids that they have to put in the work to have the fun - and they teach them how to confidently, safely and properly handle the animals. The well-being of the animals is always first.They teach the riders in such a positive way, really focusing on fostering independence in them while also teaching them how to best look after the needs of the horses. It develops such a wonderful relationship between the riders and horses, and creates new generations of riders who will offer the same care and love for the animals that Miss Steffany obviously does. We have happily watched our daughter's confidence grow beyond measure within this year. And have been so proud and amazed by what she is taking away from each lesson along with riding techniques - Steffany and her staff are teaching her compassion for animals and an above standard level of care for horses. I have grown up around the horse industry in Ontario, and can attest to both the good and bad in it. Fox Lair is good. I was very picky when finding stables for my daughter and they clearly operate with the health and needs of their animals at the forefront of their business. The kids absolutely love Steffany and the staff at Fox Lair, the environment is a happy and positive one where hard work and success are celebrated. The kids learn SO much! The rides, lessons and camps run at Fox Lair are amazing. I highly recommend them!!!

My first experience with the program was when I was around 10 years old as a camper which was such a fun, immersive experience. As an adult I volunteered and then worked as a camp counsellor which was also a fantastic experience. The staff are so dedicated to their mission and make everyone feel so welcomed and safe. The horses are so loved and well looked-after. You can really tell how much love and dedication that has gone into the program from the stables to the arena and the entire property itself is beautiful and well-kept. My daughter has been riding for over 2 years, she started riding when she was 4 and they have been nothing but amazing with all of us since then. I do not have a riding background and they have been so patient and kind as my family improves our equestrian knowledge along with our daughter. The KM family is kind, loving, knowledgable, friendly, and professional. My daughter is not only learning how to improve her riding abilities, but she is learning how to take care of horses, how to treat them, and has made some very special bonds with many horses. She is learning show etiquette, respect, determination and confidence every week. Not every lesson is easy, but with the positive encouragement and reassurance from coaches, friends, owners, fellow families and even strangers, she always leaves with a smile and something to work towards in the next week. Sarah Somers: Went to Big Creek Horse Stables for a trail ride with a friends, age range 7-45 mostly inexperienced riders; had an amazing ride, found it was well organized and the owners were wonderful: helmets available for all riders, instructions were given before going out, and given throughout the ride when necessary. The farm was accessible through our visit, some animals to see and pet, as well as a small play set. Can’t wait to go back, was throughly enjoyed by all.
