Susan Lougheed: Following our hike today to Webster's falls, we went for a terrific lunch at The Winchester Arms on King Street in delightful Dundas where they had these amazing olive oils and balsamic vinegars from The Urban Vine just down the street.If you haven't been, you should check it out. It's a family run 'tasting boutique' business with very high-quality flavored olive oils, aged balsamic vinegars, and more! They give you samples and bottle it fresh to order. We tried their truffle oil. It is so delicious and rich that we each took home a bottle. I also got raspberry, grapefruit, and Sicilian lemon vinegars. The flavors and aromas are incredible!!The owners are delightful and so knowledgeable. I will definitely be back for more.

Cathy Moses Chadwick: In our journey to eat much healthier and truly enjoy everything, we found our way to the Urban Vine. We made it a destination point to go there, as we’re not local. We enjoyed the charm that this town had to offer. Sad to say, I forgotten the employees name, the owners, son. But he was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were on a mission and arrived with what was left of a very treasured 25 year old homemade balsamic vinegar. I never thought I would find anything remotely close to it. But he was so helpful, we went home with four different types of vinegar! It was so much fun, yes, vinegar shopping was fun! It was a real education, and so wonderful that you can taste test, and he gave us various suggestions to use the different vinegar’s. They must have at least 100 vinegar’s, and olive oil’s too. We will definitely be returning, found another “go-to” place! YUM!!!

Kaitlyn G: This store caught my eye on the map, so we made the drive to Brantford a few weeks ago to visit.The shopkeeper was very nice and informative, letting me sample the oils and telling me about each one. The EVOOs definitely taste super fresh and not like others I've tried before! I bought a few bottles, including a garlic flavour I didn't sample in store, because it's very hard to mess up garlic oil. Wow, I was blown away when I tried it at home, it was so much more than I was expecting; it tastes like FRESH garlic, and not just garlic. Wow!!Will definitely buy more when my stash runs out, and I'm not buying supermarket olive oil any more!!

Stephen Rapcewicz: Addictive yes addictive!!!! Once you sample this olive oil selection, you will not , I repeat you will not ever buy from the chain store shelves again. Why? You can immediately taste the difference that superior quality makes. For example, my favourite olive oils would be the Persian, garlic infused and the chiquitita,. Now the balsamic vinegar section is comparably excellent. Again, I have stopped buying at the big chain stores who offer a higher priced product but not a superior quality balsamic. So my favourites are the chocolate infused that I pour over strawberries, the blueberry infused that I pour in my soda stream water, the key lime that I use for margaritas and mojitos, the Sicilian lemon infused with salad s. When you visit this store they will give you a brief crash course on the methodologies and international connections and production plus an oil and vinegar tasting and pairing.. delicioso!!!!! In addition , you can buy little tiny sample bottles or small, medium and large. We started off with small samplers of several and then graduated to the larger sizes hence my terminology and usage of addictive. Your tastebuds will reject any other olive oils or balsamic vinegars . I used to hate salads until I tried these and I am 73! So if you have young children this is a great way to train their palates for healthy salads and lifestyle. I also pour the vinegars on my French fries , any boiled or baked vegetables like beans , broccoli or cabbage or cauliflower or carrots or anything. The Sicilian lemon is great on fish as well . They even have recommendations for using their product for cocktails. I love this place and as an added bonus they have a rewards club. Bon aperitif!!!!!! Y salute!

The only downside is the veggies are not always fresh specially the imported vegetables.
