Ron Golden: West End Diner has become our "go to" place when you hit one of those nights where you just don't feel like cooking.You'll have a tough time finding a restaurant that has such an extensive menu, and I can't say we've ever been disappointed in anything they serve.Portions are very generous, so you usually leave with leftovers for another meal at home. So the reasonable prices are even better considering that you're likely to get extras from it.I think the best part of it though is that it's a family owned business who obviously put their heart and soul into it. It's a place I feel deserves the support of the local community they service.
Bonnie Haigh: Shandi was our server and she was amazing, friendly and prompt. We ordered seniors hot beef and only wanted one side, she suggested we take the salad or soup home so we had the salad to go. Not many restaurants offer that. Food was delicious and we enjoyed being there. Have been before and have always enjoyed our meals. Thankyou !!

Mitali: Amazing place with vegan Indian food! We tried Samosa Chaat, tacos, naan pizza and veggie pulao - everything tastes good. But we loved tacos the MOST. Also tried avocado cinnamon drink for the first time and it was surprisingly good. We wanted to try ayurvedic cacao but it was sold out at that time. Apparently it's in demand. The ambience is perfect and the owners are lovely. We enjoyed our time here!

D Lamb: Toby's hands down has the best 'home cooked' meals. Super friendly staff and the food is delicious. Clean environment and you feel like you're visit family for a meal. C. Lee: My coworkers and I have been coming here for about a year or so, and the service and food is always excellent. One thing I noticed that rekindled my faith in humanity is that Toby's allows a few houseless people sit and drink coffee when its very cold outside. Thank goodness someone in this city has a sense of responsibility for our fellow people. I hope Toby's never leaves Jackson Square!

Morgan W: Stopped here for a quick lunch before heading back to the office and was thrilled with my experience. Prompt and friendly service; fantastic food. Got the grilled chicken sandwich on focaccia with fresh-cut fries -- strongly recommend. Tiramisu for dessert... divine! Almost too big a portion to finish but I persevered. Thomas John Fauteux: This is a real Gem and next door to Theatre Aquarius. Our lunch after our Saturday Matinee was exceptional. My wife's sandwich was large and she brought half home for her lunch the next day. I ask a special request because of a diet I was on and the chefs were able to accommodate me. Staff were friendly and served us extremely well. We will definitely return and not just after theatre.

We went for a friends birthday, we had the Autumn Salad, Cavatelli Pasta and my friend had the Osso Buco and we couldn't have been more satisfied with our choices. The flavours and quality were top notch. Our server Kristin was so helpful in pairing the best wines and a tasteful mocktail that complimented my dish. I didn't feel left out as a non-drinker. The Chefs are clearly passionate about their craft and it shows. I can't wait to go back!

Dominik Parisien: Best food in Hamilton. My wife and I have been ordering from Wass for about two years and the food has always been outstanding. It's our go-to place to order and our favourite restaurant in the city. We normally pick it up but decided to dine there for my birthday. Yonas was so kind, and the food superb. The presentation was also lovely. We definitely need to eat there in person more often. Can't recommend it enough.
Brandon Findling: My friend just moved by Wass so we walked in to grab dinner and check it out. Food is absolutely incredible! We shared the beef alicha and lamb Wass special with injera and rice. So much flavor in everything, we literally cleaned it all up! My friend said it might be the best Ethiopian food he has had. Lastly, I had a cup of their Ethiopian coffee which was also incredibly tasty. Thoroughly impressed 😋

Human Scaffold: We have been going to Shakespeare's for 30+ years, and it is our go-to restaurant for all family events, anniversaries, birthdays and those nights when we simply want to get out for a great dinner. porky75: When you go there you will likely see a bunch of older Portuguese men watching soccer and arguing about who knows how to patch a driveway better. This can be off putting if you are expecting a fine dining experience. However, if you want very, very high quality food big on taste and quantity + good price this place is where I go. Everyone I take there says “not for a date but I am coming back”.

Manu Br: The restaurant has a cool theme, service was fast and efficient and we loved their food and drinks. Their menu had quite a few unique options that I haven't seen in other places. We tried the chicken liver brulee, the lamb blanquette in a blanket and the rabbit and wild pheasant lasagna in addition to a few cocktails. Everything tasted excellent. I was actually hesitant because I usually do not like the taste of lamb nor rabbit but the food was delicious here. Glad I decided to try something different, it was worth it and I recommend.**Edit: for drinks, we tried the daiquiri, the new york sour and the suns out buns out cocktails. I liked them all but suns out buns out was my favourite.
