Dundurn Park: what do users think?

Scott Travers: Wonderful park. Pavillion, pick nick tables scattered around. Wonderful view of the bay. A great park for an afternoon outing.Restrooms: Only available in the visitor building, closed on the holiday.Picnic area: Large Pavillion with many tables. No BBQ stand though.

Mathieu Benoit: Nice quiet and historic place. What not to love.

Victoria Kim: Absolutely love ❤️ the experience of visiting this beautiful place, had no idea about very early history of Hamilton before visiting. Amazing, knowledgeable and friendly staff on site available for group tours, willing to share and answer the questions. Definitely recommend for children 10+ to learn and explore the very early Canadian heritage.

Eanass A: The view from top overlooking the lake & old train station is regenerating..The historical feel of the castle makes the park alive with memories of champions of War..

Pam Tuck: Outdoor production of The Tempest

Annie Kaur: Beautiful place to visit with family and friends. Scenic beauty and serene environment of the surroundings adds to the charm of this place. A must recommended for all to visit.

Umakandan Panch: Historical please

Sweet November: Beautiful place. Well kept grounds. View of the lake. We witnessed 2 weddings there, obviously a great venue.Lots of beautiful flowers, a garden that belongs to the castle and they grow stuff there for sale and own use.Saw people with pets, walking with strollers. Great spot. We enjoyed our time there.

Chiara Cipriani: Very nice, not crowded and beautiful view, plus crab apples!Dog-friendliness: I see lots of people bring their dog for a walk or even play catchPicnic area: TONS of space for a nice picnic and picnic area

Barbara Moffatt: Incredible how far back simplistic inventions were a constant inspiration. All made to make life easier, in the kitchens, bathing, heating and even private waterclosets. 1800's paved the way for these improvements to be understood and painstakingly researched.Restrooms: On premises.Dog-friendliness: To walk the grounds seemed ok.Picnic area: Just bring a blankly for lunch under some incredibly beautiful trees mid tour. PLEASE DO NOT LITER the few who spoil it for the many.

The Temp: Great venue to take special photos outside especially during the Golden Hour before sunset!

April S: Great place full of history. If you are in Hamilton I highly recommend. Also a wonderful back drop for pictures.
