Ally: Been on the hunt for some real authentic Jamaican food. So glad we came across Ja-Nice.Certainly satisfied my craving for some good stew chicken.The Pattie’s and Jerk chicken were so yummy too.Looking forward to trying the oxtail next time.Definitely one of our new favourite spots 🇯🇲

Steven Washington: We were in the area and stopped in and we were immediately greeted with a happy smile and amazing smelling food. We were looking to order chicken patties but they sold out fast so we decided to try the vegetarian patties and they were absolutely amazing! Will definitely go back to try the goat roti next!
Tanya Batagelj: My daughter introduced us to this spot and she would rave about it…and for good reason! The special way she makes here jerk chicken is by far the best!! And that pasta salad!! I’m not even a pasta salad lover, but hers I LOVE!!My daughter is obsessed with her soup which is sometimes sold out but we understand as the owner likes to keep everything fresh. Ja-Nice is a wonderful place!

Ilanna T: I'm happy to have doubles and Trini style roti in my neighborhood since moving to Hamilton. I have been here twice so far. Got doubles both times and they were proper. The 1st time I got pholourie too. I thought it was kinda soso but maybe because I ate 2 doubles prior. I'd give them another shot. Got a chicken roti yesterday and it was good but maybe they forgot to put pepper inside. That's ok though, I added some Berties and that solved that. The roti was massive and generously stuffed with chicken and potatoes. All in all friendly service. I'll definitely got back.

The flavour is amazing!!! I always get extra sauce!!! The oxtail, omg!!! Same thing!!! The chicken, phenomenal!!!! There are so many things on the menu that I haven't tried yet, but I will, and I am sure I will love it!!! Christine is an awesome lady and treats everyone with a mum-like personality... Taking care in every side dish, plate, and experience memorable and delicious, with a 100% success rate, I give this place 5 stars!!!Vegetarian options: There several vegetarian options on this menu!!! Marissa L: This is a tiny shop off bay and king, but there's a lot of flavour! Ordered the doubles, boneless chicken roti and goat roti. The roti was flavourful, moist, the gravy was amazing. I didn't love the doubles, it needed more depth. I also didn't like the hot sauce on the side - I felt it was too 1 note. Just hot, no flavour. Rotis were really good though!
Gabrielle Maifyadi: I was happy to find a Trinidadian restaurant being new to Hamilton. The food tastes just like home. The staff/ owner are very warm and friendly. Even a customer who came in talked about how great this spot is. Check out their specials 11:30 am - 3pm, I believe M - F. Go in and get some yummy food and treats from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹
Griffin Wyndowe: When I saw the meal deal I thought that it would be another example of shrinkflation but I was pleasantly impressed at the size of the portions. Every time it is going to feed you for the whole day. Monday they are closed which is sad but they had BBQ chicken on Wednesday and Fried chicken on fridays. All in all the best roti place in all of canada, dare I say outside of the Caribbean.

CURRY GOAT ROTI!!!!!!!10/10 it is soooooo delicious.My husband has tried other items on their menu and says they are delicious but I swear by their curry goat roti!!!!Large chunks of meat seasoned to perfection my mouth soft roti it is so good! iann beck: I have eaten in Canada.My friend and I grew up in the Caribbean and that chicken really brought us back in time.We arrived quite late but the staff was very nice and the food portions were very generous. I had the strew chicken and my friend the jerk chicken and we were both very happy with our choice. Not only was the chicken really good but the rice and salad were also full of flavour.I honestly strongly recommend you this place especially if you are on a budget.

Jeremy Ying: This, right here, is THE spot. They do the rice properly. Food has a small amount of heat but they keep it in check. Good cuts of chicken. Tastes like the food I grew up eating. I have found a new favourite Caribbean food place. It’s about damned time.
Kris Bee: Wow, first time trying jerk chicken. It’s so good. A hint of spice, lots of flavour, the meat literally fell off the bone. The fries were seasoned perfectly and hot and still crispy !!! That’s because the delivery was so fast and FREE!The rice and beans were delicious and cooked perfectly again full of flavour. The portions are huge!! It was a lot of food for $20 total including tax, FREE delivery, a tip and a beverage.I ordered the M jerk chicken w/ rice & beans a side of fries with a can of iced tea.Would highly recommend this restaurant. Will be back for more Jamaican cuisine. Loved it, and want to try more. Great new favourite spot.

Jaime Pacheco: We asked for the lunch specials. One with Jerk chicken and one with Curry Chicken. Both meals came in small containers with rice and peas on one and just white rice on the other and only a couple of small pieces of chicken in each, which kind of voids the " Special". So I got another 1/2 Jerk Chicken to make sure that we had enough good stuff. And damn, it is good stuff. The sides were simple and played their part well but the chicken was outstanding. The Curry Chicken was very typical really good Jamaican flavah, but it was extremely tender and fall off the bone. The Jerk was smoky, slightly spicy and very moist. Definitely the best that I've tried in my limited experience with Caribbean cuisine. Next time, I'm just going to order a whole Jerk Chicken ... and maybe a small rice and peas.
Ben Banwait: Amazing Customer Service, this guy will give you gravy extra if requested. Amazing Curry Chicken roti and the Jerk Pork is killer with oxtail gravy. Nice seating inside, very clean. I eat at alot if caribean joints and this by far is the best in the hammer.
