Maria Boric: We are very happy with Ferreira Flooring owned and operated by Alex Ferreira.We initially purchased our hardwood floors from a place not recommended by Alex. Instead we purchased hardwood that was on sale, sadly you know where this is going, if the deal is too good to be true, it's not a deal, lesson learned. On install day, we received a call from Alex, letting us know the hardwood was "garbage" It dried out and split every time he put a nail in and in good conscience, he said he could not install them as they would create problems for us down the road. Not only did he let us know, he helped us return the floors, all 750 square feet. The company was reluctant to give us a refund, but Alex spoke up and helped us retrieve a full refund, for this alone, we are grateful to Alex, above and beyond!. Of course, the job was now delayed and Christmas was around the corner. The search for new hardwood floors started all over again, I began to panic, Alex was very professional and told us not to worry, and that he would fit us in no matter what and he held true to his promise. Once the new floors arrived and climatized, he was ready to start the next day. True professionalism! While they worked here, they were polite, efficient, respectful and hardworking. What could have been a nightmare, turned into a smooth and timely transition to beautiful hardwood floors on the entire first floor and completed in a timely manner. Margaret Cunningham: Alex and Kai spent four days in our 80 year old home this January laying down hardwood floor on our 2nd floor. The job entailed tearing up carpet in the master and hallways, and laying down the hardwood over existing mismatched wood in the other two bedrooms as well as where the carpet was. We spoke of a couple of options on how to handle the transitions between rooms with multiple original floorings to be covered. In the end the choices made with the help of Alex resulted in seamless transitions between rooms and a beautiful new floor throughout the 2nd floor. Alex was quick to accomodate us and scheduled in a date to attend our home and provide us a quote based on the scale of work required and different flooring options available. As this is our first home and first major renovation, we were quite nervous on what the projected cost for labour and materials would be.Thankfully, Alex walked us through the whole process and discussed even the most tedious of details including the most desirable shoe moulding options that would match our interior decor. Lee M: Duarte Tile remodelled my main bathroom. They installed a new tub, fixtures, floor and tub surround with tile. They also assisted in installing a new vanity with double sinks. The bathroom looks amazing and the work was great. Duarte Tile does really good work and stands behind their installations and renovations. They also did a carpet for my entire basement and we absolutely love it!! My kids are enjoying their new play room and our office carpet looks amazing.
