Beth K: . We had very little to do ourselves, which let us relax and enjoy the day. Jana was so helpful and responsive in helping us plan and run the day. There were so many thoughtful details/surprises through the day - bringing us breakfast, having our signature drinks ready for the bridal party immediately after the ceremony, putting our bouquets in vases at the main table. They brought me a giant speaker in the morning to jam out to my favourite tunes while getting ready. The decor was great

Jim T: I visited here last night to attend a dinner and concert. The concert was awesome it was Gordon Hendricks as Elvis, and his performance was outstanding. The dinner was a 4 course meal that was delicious, and very filling! I really enjoyed the Southern Fried Chicken it was battered to perfection, and the meat was very tender and juicy! The dessert was a banana pudding that tasted delicious. All the staff there was very pleasant, and always greeted you with a smile on their face. The waitstaff are very hard workers, and us all at our table were amazed on how many dishes they can carry all at once. Fantastic night, fantastic people. I would definitely consider coming to another attraction in the near future, and I highly recommend this establishment for all your entertainment needs, catering, and engagements.

My partner can go on and on about Hector and his excellence.However, this review is regarding Taylor Barbet. She has been absolutely amazing. She has fulfilled each and every request my partner and I have had. I know at times we can be a lot, but with Taylor's patience, understanding, and exceptional listening skills, it really has been a smooth and stress free process. Her knowledge and expertise have also been very beneficial these last few months.I high recommend Carmen's Banquet Centre for any function, and hopefully you'll have the pleasure to work with Hector and Taylor the way my partner and I have.Carmine&Sarah

Neman Syed: Great theatre space and café! Theatre seats have fantastic sightlines. They are however somewhat uncomfortably tilted back - if there are folding seats placed at the front you might want to consider that, or be ready to sit forward to relieve the pressure on your back.

Top Notch customer service! On our return later that week we enjoyed some cocktails and a Massive Nacho plate that 4 of us had a hard time finishing! Be sure and have their signature spiral fries!
Hannah Toope: Came here for my brother's birthday, they had rented out the theater, it was so fun and a really good price! I didn't get to try the food but everyone there loved it and wants to go back. Friendly owners and workers. Parking situation wasn't great but we managed to find parking on the street close by.
Joshua Toope: Food delicious! The draft selection is full of Collective Arts and other local craft beers. The staff is very friendly and the entire atmosphere is so cool and welcoming. We rented the theatre and had an awesome time. I will definitely be repeating the theatre rental and I hope to get back here for some delicious vegan eats, or a even a show in the near future.

Alexandra Schembri: My husband and I got married at the Waterfront Centre this past weekend and could not be happier with our choice to hold our reception here! Claire helped us with our wedding planning and was incredible. She was very responsive, answering any question I had leading up to the day. Mike was on-site for the duration of the wedding and checked in with me throughout the night to make sure everything was going okay. The food was wonderful. We got the steakhouse package. I had multiple people tell me how much they loved the pistachio pasta and the steak. Everyone was also raving about the late night room! The public docks outside of the venue are beautiful for taking photos. We also got the entertainment package. The photo booth and light up batons were such a hit!

Ashlie took over for Edu but the transition was seamless, she knew all about our previous planning was just as nice to work with. On the day of, everything ran so smoothly and we had such a great time. Everything looked beautiful and the decor and set-up was stunning. The food was absolutely amazing! Our friends and family are still talking about it! The team was so great! Ashlie got us all set up and Mike, Claire and the rest of the staff took care of us all night! It was such a great time and we are so thankful we had our wedding at the Waterfront Centre!

The abundance and quality of food offered at the late night buffet was another thing guests were raving about, SO GOOD!The venue itself it stunning with views of the Hamilton waterfront. We had around 175 guests and it never felt cramped, it was the perfect amount of space! The decor they offer was fabulous and made it so much easier for end of the night clean up.Eduvina and Ashlie helped plan our wedding and Claire and Mike were there throughout the night making sure everything was under control and on time. They all did a fabulous job!!The bartenders did an amazing job keeping up with the number of people we had, there was never a long line - something we were concerned about from other weddings we have been to. If there was a longer line, Mike would run behind the bar to help catch up!I would recommended this venue to anyone! The level of stress alleviated by their all inclusive approach was amazing!

The day of coordinator, Claire, was absolutely a doll too making sure everything was excellent throughout the night.Even pickup was a breeze. This was a smooth convenience I am thankful for.We have been on cloud 9 since July and honestly, a big part of that was because of this hall. I could relive that day every day if I could. Thank you so much waterfront banquet. You have our word of mouth and our memories forever!!!!!!

Vanessa: We hosted our wedding at Liuna back in June. From the initial contact with those working the office, to the day of on-site coordinator, Liuna's staff are all so attentive and professional. If quality of food is important to you as it is to us, Liuna's executive chef and culinary team are truly amazing and talented. To this day, guests from our wedding are still commenting on how good the food was...especially the Antipasto Bar, 10/10!

Ivona Tomic: My husband and I had our wedding recently at the Grand Olympia, and we cannot be more happy with not only the service but the overall experience of the venue.The manager Caela, was exceptionally helpful and attended to all of our requests.Not only is she the sweetest person but her client service skills are astounding. Through out the whole process from start to finish she has answered all of our questions and helped with making our day run as smooth as possible.The venue itself is beautiful, their recent renovation really show cases a certain level of class and beauty.I also had my bridal shower in one of the upstairs halls, and once again the decoration and food did not disappoint.For our wedding we had the hall decorated by Elizabeth who is the in-house decorator, and we cannot say enough about how stunning it all came out. I had a certain vision in mind and she has definitely surpassed it!As for the food, Melissa the chef did an outstanding job. The meals were very flavourful and fresh. Till this day we have our friends and family talk about how good the food was.If you are looking for a venue for your upcoming wedding, bridal shower, birthday, etc. I highly highly recommend The Grand Olympia, the staff, the venue, the food, and the overall vibe is astounding. 😊

Nasir Meraj: Great place for a Convention! Came out for Con Bravo, my 2nd convention. Lotta online personalities came out, Floss, TFS, Comic Book Guy, Lets Players, bought a hot dog, fish/chips. It's been too long. I felt like I was missing out, but I don't love travel, by driving, weird times, being pressed for cash, being in college, not having steady work. That was years ago. Have a plan, save up cash, and check into a hotel. Don't be a loner. Don't love convention cold either. Discern who are good friends, and who are jerks. Didn't buy any games, comics, much food, wanted to splurge.

Kirsteen Anderson: Enjoyed our trip for Dead Daisies! The only issue we had was intermission. They did not announce the return to the stage and with only one bartender, the line was long. We missed my favorite song!

JC Le: Good amount of staff for a smaller venue. They're friendly and there to help you. Great place to have a intimate experience of your event. You're in a good place anywhere you are inside. Clean washrooms. No WiFi. Paid onsite parking. Jackson Square, Hotel and Bus Terminal attached.

Suzanne Podmore: A different hall very old feel to it. The seats in the balcony are great except for the pipe railings which go both horizontal and vertical every 5 feet so you have to look around the pole the whole time. Staff was friendly and helpful
