Liaison College Hamilton: what do users think?

Gary Hill: I graduated from Liaison College April 20, 2018. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to become a chef or even if you only want some basic cooking skills. I initially signed up to do the “Cook Basic” course. I was having such a good time learning and applying what they taught us that I went and got a loan and signed up for the “Advanced” class. I am now working as a cook and I love it. Christine Demko and her staff go above and beyond for their students. The instructors are top notch and the class sizes are relatively small. They will help you find a job after you graduate and even if you’re looking for another job 5-10 years later they will still help you. It was a very good experience. If you’re thinking of becoming a chef or just want to learn more in the kitchen for your family, then I highly suggest you look into Liaison. I’m happy I did. Thank you Liaison for making my dream come true!!

Emily Adams: Positive:Communication

David Rochon: Great staff

Frank Pizzacalla: but Brantford school is a joke in it self went there and drop out because they where not teaching me what i need to learn or know :

Ester Samarita: I love cooking even when I was young. And I dreamed of becoming a chef one day. I came to Canada as a Live-in caregiver or nanny. I worked for a family for more than 4 years, but my dream did not stop there. When I was given the chance to go to school, I looked around for a good culinary school and found Liaison College through the billboard advertisement in the streets of Hamilton. And I looked in the internet the nearest branch of Liaison College in my workplace and the culinary program they are offering. Upon checking their website, I saw an opportunity because they have this part-time course for Diploma Cook Basic program that suits my work schedule. So, I went in Liaison College at Jackson Square branch to enroll and found it very interesting. The instructors were very helpful making it sure that we the students will learn the basic techniques of not only cooking but also baking. Our practical lessons helped me developed my skills and broaden my knowledge in cooking, giving me confidence to do such job. I am now working as a Sous Chef at Charred Rotisserie House. And I thanked Liaison College for helping me achieve my dream.

Brett Nuttall: of the college are all factors in my accomplishments, because they wanted me and each student alike to succeed. I would recommend Liaison College Hamilton, to anyone that have serious aspirations to work with food.

Robert Doolittle: I started at Liaison college in October, after already having 8 years in the industry I thought school would be easy, Chef Steve taught me to take better care of the ingredients and use the information provided, along with theory and terms. Now in the advanced portion of my term Chef Dan a C.C.C Chef is teaching us how to run our kitchens and take our knowledge and passion and let it show in our food, Chef Dan is teaching us the importance of being on time and showing up to class. Murline,Angee,Nicole are the heart of Liaison and make every attempt and effort to make things run smoothly, Liaison is a small family always available to offer guidence to help you further your career.Robert DoolittleChef De Cuisine 2016

Melissa Schilz: Small class sizes, a flexible course schedule and the ability to complete the entire program in an eight month period led me to enrol at Liaison College Hamilton Campus.I was someone who already had a “career”, but I was unhappy. I wanted change and the chance to learn the required skills to pursue my true passion....cooking.Upon my first meeting with Chef Daniel I knew Liaison was the right choice for me. I was given many options as far as scheduling, course dates and financial options.Throughout my eight months at Liaison I was engaged and challenged by both Chef Dan and Chef Steve daily to be better and do better. The small class sizes made for an optimal learning experience. All of my questions, concerns or any feedback I feel I needed were always available immediately. My time at Liaison was the most challenging and rewarding experience of my life. Murline, Nicole, Chef Dan and Chef Steve were an amazing support system for someone going through a major career change. I always felt like a family member and was never treated as “just a student”.I developed several friendships that I know will last a lifetime. Chef Dan and Chef Steve continue to mentor me to this day and have guided me into my new career. Their support and guidance means more than they will ever know.I am now employed full-time at an award winning winery in the Niagara Region. The skills and training I received at Liaison led me to a promotion and a raise within my first five months of employment!Melissa S.Chef de Cuisine Diploma completed October, 2014.

Rob Balla: Great School! I Love It!

Chocolate Tales - Experience Taste!: what do users think?

Mark: Did the Macrone baking class. Had an absolute blast. David was amazing and knowledgeable. Got to take home the end result. Great way to spend an afternoon.

Susana Hernandez: Great experience! We took the classic chocolate making workshop and was really informative and fun, a lot of chocolate to take home. Great for all the family, nice experience.

Being Eh Wanderer: We enjoyed our experience in the choclate making class from scratch. We did some fun activities like putting choclate in mold, scrapping, topping it with some dessicated coconut and much more. Chocolates itself were really yummy, we couldn't resist eating some during the session as the fragrance was so good.

Robin Kang: Fantastic chocolate decorating class! Made some nice bonbons and truffles and more. Highly recommend.

Anne D'Altorio: We did the tasting your, really informative, fun and delicious!

Varjitt Jeeva: Very wholesome experience! Came here with my girlfriend for their Valentine’s Day Truffle Making Workshop. Took about 1 hour and 15 mins, and had plenty of chocolate to take home. Definitely would recommend!

Elizabeth RBee: WOW! ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING CHOCOLATE! Melt in the mouth! My new goto Chocolatier!!! Serious competition for Rheo Thompson chocolate mints, which i had been shipping to friends. Now, just shopping local. 😄

michael sanson: We had a great family outing and Jenna did a good job. For the cost it would have been nice for some more showmanship - I think Jenna should have had helper so she could have told us more about chocolate and chocolate tales as a company. She was busy working overtime. It was all smiles and fun - just seems like we were working and not learning.

Ashley: Got as a gift for my in-laws who loved the experience!! We initially had a couple hiccups with re-booking, but the team was really easy to deal with and accommodating.Cant wait to try it myself!

Maria Kovacova: Amazing service! Jenna went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, and made my mother in laws birthday super special! They have vegan and gluten free options. A chocolate lovers dream! 11/10 service! Amazing staff!

John Del Grande: $10 Chocolate factory 'tour' is actually a sit down experience which includes brief history of chocolate, where chocolate comes from, tasting of three types of chocolates and a few samples. Lots of artisan chocolates/truffles for purchase - w/ tour gives you 10% off.Chocolatier/instructor David is great.

Rianna Valvasori: Being a vegan with a sugar tooth makes it very hard to find tasty options. I went to Chocolate Tales last week to pick up their vegan chocolate collection and it was the best chocolate I've had to date. Thanks Chocolate Tales!

Derek J. Lanting: Jenna led an online class, making trouffles … and fun!!! She has a clear voice, enjoys what she explains, the pace was good - and the final chocolate product was delicious!! Looking forward to another class…!

Allison: Good quality products and a fun truffle making class! The truffles are super decadent but make for a great treat.

Al Povoledo: Great customer service. Thank you.
