Jim Lambier: After having no luck finding a decent tree at other farms, we found this place. Their trees are healthy, very green with straight trunks. The staff were all very friendly. The only downside was that they were a little pricey. $80 for either a precut tree or a cut your own.

Ryan Tonegawa: Also in the spirit of Christmas they did not raise their prices to incredible heights, like literally every other place that sells a tree. Their site was up to date and provided all relevant info to make a visit. If you were like us and balked at the price gouging early in December and still find yourself without a tree, look into Spruce Meadows and try to get out there today or tomorrow before they close on the 10th!If you miss them this year, be sure to check them out in 2022!

Rolando Tecson: These guys are legit, honest and great to deal with. I was looking for a great tree and they delivered. I paid for a 8' tree that was thick and not scraggly. They also have really nice wreaths as well. They also made a little tree for my 2 year old to take home. I really appreciate that they were honest enough to give me my monies worth when the guy forgot to give me a wreath with my purchase. Look for them in the dairy Queen parking lot on the north side West of King Street intersection. No phone number but a website. Plenty of selection and they helped load the tree. Couldn't ask for more.

Allyn Walsh: A low key Christmas tree experience just like it used to be- fields of trees in all sizes, and several varieties. No line ups, no crowds, no loud music. We wandered around trying to choose and finally cut a beautiful white pine.

Casey Cody: We had a lovely time walking the property with our dogs in our hunt for the perfect tree. We saw lots of good options and enjoyed the natural setting. It was not too busy which is such a nice change from the usually hyper crowded tree farms we have gone too in the past. The owner Nimmi and her family were so kind and helpful. We really enjoyed chatting with them and learning about the children’s charity they chose to support with all proceeds from the sale of their greenery. We got a bunch of beautiful greenery for an excellent price. We will definitely be back next year. Finished off our outing at the nearby Carlisle bakery Fleetwood Acres for some delicious beef rolls and cinnamon donuts. Perfect day!

Chrissie Fandrich: It may not be a commercial tree farm, but it is run by a lovely couple. You walks through the woods on their property to pick a tree. We walked around for about 20 minutes explireribg and found a lovely tree. Perfect little place to visit and very kind people who own it.
Alicia Niles: Marks is an annual event for our family. Beautiful wooded area lovely for walking and dog friendly. Christmas trees as nature intends, no pesticides or herbicides. Our even had a tiny birds nest. A warm fire and hot apple cider too. We look forward to our visit to marks every year.
Candice Goodale: If you like the old fashioned walk in the woods, less commercial search for the perfect tree this is the place. It was quiet peaceful and very friendly. Be prepared to hike around and search. Bring the tools you need, time and patience. We brought home a great tree. Not perfectly trimmed or commercially farmed but naturally grown. It's home and decorated now. Thanks for the memories and see you next year!

We were hoping for a much more adventurous approach to finding our Christmas tree this year, and being able to navigate through such a beautiful property with very well-groomed trails on a fun hunt for our tree was so much better than walking ten feet to a field of rows and plucking just one from the bunch! The owners were so welcoming, accommodating and helpful! I read an earlier review claiming the owner was "rude" about "negotiating" a price, but knowing the price of the trees and then presumptuously offering far less after cutting one down is ignorant, arrogant and insulting. I only hope that more families who enjoy the outdoors and the experience of the search for the perfect tree will learn about this gem of a property and business. Thank you, Mark's Christmas Trees for gifting my family the experience I was starting to believe we would never be able to have, as I spent hours searching for a tree farm like this one before finally finding it! We'll be going back every year - that's for sure!

Russ Robertson: Took my awesome daughters and pet dog to Mark's Sat and once again had a great time! Beautiful walk in the bush with creek and ponds. Had great conversation with Grandad, one of his sons and a grandson; all fine people. Lots of other families with kids too! If you want a perfect pyramid shaped tree go to a plastics store; if you want a fun tree and super outing go to Marks. Expect to return again next year.

Catherine Fairbairn: Very cute tree farm. Loved the red pickup truck and Christmas store. It wasn't very busy on a Wednesday when we went. Lots of stuff for kids to do. I only gave a 4 because most of the activities were roped off

Gabriela Jarosz: Our experience at Pumpkinfest far exceeded our expectations. There were so many fun activities for kids of all ages. What I most appreciated was the reservation system. The farm was sold out for the weekend and when we arrived the parking attendant told us they had turned away tons of people who didn’t have reservations. Once inside we never had more than 2-3 people in line in front of us for anything including the wagon ride, pumpkin patch, bathrooms, food, or any games or activities. My toddler was able to enjoy all the fun activities, the staff were so friendly and helpful in directing us where we wanted to go. I really appreciated that the farm forgoes extra money from admissions in favour of providing patrons with a really fun and memorable and not overly crowded experience.

Cut down the previous night. Got them home and they look perfect! The folks there are super nice. Very humble. It was a pleasure buying our trees from them. We will be back next year!!
