4worldlovers: The founders of Legacy Beach set out on a vision to build a local beach volleyball club in the Burlington/Oakville area, back in the Spring of 2014. A club where athletes would learn the technical skills of beach volleyball, in a fun, inclusive, competitive training atmosphere, while developing life skills like communication, work ethic, teamwork and cooperation. In the first season (2014), they found their first location in the back parking lot of Burloak Sports Centre, home to 3 beach volleyball courts. Then in 2017 they moved to the Wave Sports Centre that has 3 beach courts as well. Our first summer group had 16 athletes, practicing twice a week, and we called ourselves Legacy Beach. Now this past summer in 2019, LB had over 100 athletes participate in one of our summer programs. We currently run programs for female athletes only, but we are looking to expand to male athletes in the next summer or 2.

4worldlovers: The EVP House League Program is one of the only programs offered of its kind in all of Ontario. Getting 1 practice and 1 game day per week and trained by top Rep coaches within our club, athletes are able to build their volleyball and team working abilities which in turn allows them to progress to play competitively. Over 62% of players from our House League programs have moved on to play Rep in a variety of clubs in Ontario. Of these players, over 40% have been offered to play with the EVP Eagles. The EVP Eagles Rep Volleyball program was established in 2012 to provide youth of all ages the opportunity to play volleyball at the highest level in Ontario. Here at EVP, our focus is to establish a platform and offer ongoing growth opportunity for every individual to reach their fullest potential, both on and off the court. We value every athlete equally, regardless of height, skill level, or experience – a positive, inclusive environment will always take priority.

4worldlovers: We provide volleyball programs in Milton for youth 6-18 years old of all skill levels. Our volleyball programs offer an academy of skills development, competitive leagues and competitive rep teams.

We are excited for our upcoming Summer 2023 Premier Beach Training. For experienced athletes committed to training for OVA Beach Tournaments. Premier athletes will train 3x/week with an emphasis on tournament preparation, game-play transition and strategy. Spaces in each age group will be limited.

Milton Edge's Summer 2023 Elite Beach Training is for experienced athletes, 11u -18u committed to training two times a week throughout the beach season (May to August). Athletes do not need to compete in the OVA beach tour to be part of this program. Athletes will be grouped according to age and skill level. Spaces in each age group will be limited.

Milton Edge Beach Volleyball Development Programs - Registration is open Milton Edge's popular development programs are available on the beach! We offer our House League, Spikes and Skills Academy programs where athletes can learn to play volleyball, while having fun in the sand! Programs take place weekly at Milton Youth Volleyball Club's beautiful outdoor beach facilities - the Beach Courts (Milton Sports Centre).

We are excited for our Fall 2023 Halton House League session. For Junior (Grade 5-8) and Senior (Grade 8-12) athletes with previous volleyball experience.

Milton Edge's Skills Academy, for grades 6-8, girls and boys, is one of Milton's favourite volleyball skills programs. Designed for beginner to advanced athletes, and led by Milton Edge's Development Director, Coach Michael Cameron. Athletes have increased opportunity to learn, develop, and improve their competitive skills, all while having fun! Over the course of the session athletes will progress through volleyball skills - bumping, setting, hitting, blocking and serving.
