Hamilton Craft Studios: what do users think?

Anita Herrmann: What a fantastic place! I love the space and the people. A great place to be creative and explore new projects.

Myke Ames: Supplies and tools for almost any kind of activity you want to do. Staff are super helpful and kind.

Kyla Leslie: Wonderful Studio, super friendly and helpful instructors, had a blast at the workshop I took. Looking forward to my next visit!

Pascal Bennett: I had a fantastic experience at a Block Printing Workshop. Just awesome. So happy this is in Hamilton.

Rose Usenica: The environment is friendly and chill. The club experiences so far have been exactly the right mix of casual and crafty.

inez genereux: I took a class here in October and had one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. I was worried that since i had very little experience using the machines I would be out of my league. The class instructor Joe made myself and the rest of the class feel totally secure and empowered to to make our work. The facilities are absolutely beautiful and have a wonderful energy in them. Something Joe said in particular made me feel so confidant in what we were doing. He said it didn't matter how many questions we asked or how many times we had to ask them, and that us being new to something or having questions or making mistakes had nothing to do with our value as people, and that we were all valuable and brave for coming to a class and trying something we maybe hadn't done before. I can't express how much this meant to me and how it gave me the confidence to pursue wood working. I cannot wait to come back.

Gigi Gedney: and stations for artisans. Wonderful learning space and memberships available.

Robert Cash: Just finished the frame-making course with Joe and I have already signed up for more courses! Joe is a great and patient instructor, answering lots of questions and providing more context and details about what we were doing and why. Lots of leverageable lessons learned thanks to Joe. The space is fabulous and I learned a lot. I will be back for more!

L Ed: What a great introduction for me to some basic woodworking fundamentals in this weekend’s frame-making study [“A Proper Frame”]. I went in with no knowledge of how to make the frame, but came away with a good understanding, lots of hands-on time, as well as the frame that i made for the work i wanted to frame. I really value the way that the course was taught: straightforward, knowledgeable, attentive and approachable guidance from Joe, our instructor. I am looking forward to exploring more courses here, thank you for the course offering, it was excellent.

Brady Kemp: I took the Kitchenware course with Joe and had a blast! The instruction was great for all skill levels, and the shop environment couldn't be better. Overall, a great shop with great people, I have already booked my next class!

Milan Vukosavljevic: I'm just finishing off my first course at HCA, and it's been such a great experience. So much so, that I've already signed up for my second one. Joe has been an excellent instructor as he quickly alleviated any beginners anxiety I may have had and did a wonderful job introducing us to the many tools we used throughout the course. The space itself is also great. Lots of room to do ones work in. I can't recommend HCA enough.

Speckles Art Studio: what do users think?

Christian Gaarn: Loads of fun and I learned a lot about painting.

Paul Gourlay: .

Desmond Jordan: Speckles is a fun art studio for adults and children alike. Let you young ones have done fun in one of their after school programs or their summer or PD camps. I like that you can have a wine and art night with a few friends. That was a lot of fun. I recommend it.

Renee: My son loves going to Speckles ! I would highly recommend Speckles- if your child likes to create - then give Speckles a try !

kelly obdeyn: Our family had a private paint class last evening. None of us would describe ourselves as creative but we had an idea to create a shared piece of art we can hang in our home. Tracey came up with an idea that allowed each us to paint an individual piece but will be hung together to make one piece of art. It's beautiful because we made it together . We are far happier wirh the outcome than if we tried to do this in our own lol!! The experience was so much fun. The studio is not frue frue. It is an industrial space with art hang up and drying everywhere from her many classes. Tracey easily inspiried us to find our inner artist. She offers advice and encouragement along the way as needed , if needed. The art our family created is truly our own and I can't wait to hang it in our home.

Shawna Salvo: Had my son's 5th Birthday at Speckles Art Studio and it was fabulous! Great party for girls and boys! We did the Art Party, and the kids got to paint pictures of Hot Air balloons on canvas. The bonus was that the kids were so well behaved as they were really concentrating on their "Works of Art"! Tracy and her team were amazing with the kids. The kids were so excited when I dropped off their paintings to their home a few days later, and the parents were even more excited as many of them hung them on the wall in their homes right away. Looking forward to taking some workshops myself!! And bringing the boys back to paint some more so we can start a wall of their beautiful artwork at home!

Caren Mix: We recently had our daughters 6th birthday party at Speckles and it was great! Tracey is extremely helpful. The kids were so involved in their project it made it the quietest 6 year old birthday I have every been to!! Thanks Tracey for a great event!

Hamilton Sylvan: . They also do adult classes and the owner is a real artist so can teach you some cool stuff. Might treat myself!

Pearlie: I can’t say enough good things about Circle Studios. The studio offers a very relaxed atmosphere, is spotless, and cozy. The front desk staff are lovely, and all of the instructors are absolutely wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. Circle Studios is AWESOME! THANK YOU for helping me heal and grow!
