Michaels: what do users think?

Amanda Sherret [Staff]: Had such a pleasant experience here today. Jackie was the best, so helpful and friendly when I was making my purchases. This store is always clean, stocked well, and has great selection. Love coming here and Jackie just made it even better today!

Richard Stinson: Good food

Chris Honcoop: Great staff well stocked for the cafter, painter and Halloween shopper

Craig White: Great place to be crafty! 😄

Carolina Vaq: The store is well lighted and is clean. The isles are clear of obstructions. As you enter at this time you will be greeted by their cool Halloween decorations.I couldn't find a worker to ask about crochet clip on eyes until I got to the check out line. The cashier was helpful and knowledgeable in what I was asking for.So, I do hope they will get small black snap on crochet eyes. Also, I was happy to see that this Michael's had cashier workers rather than self check out, it was a nice personal touch. As I was leaving, an older lady lost her earring, once the cashier finished my order, she went straight to the older lady to help her out. I thought that was very nice.Currently, the outside of the store is under renovations, however, you can still finding parking and the entrance is still wheelchair accessible.A good selection of yarn, and there are a couple new options.Their fall collection is pretty neat.

Tom: Excellent for artists

Ayishat Ozigis: Nice place but poor customer service. Can't find employee to ask question except at the cash register

irysh jones: All the staff i dealt with was great!

Anton Lit: Great store if you do art projects of any kind.

Light Catchers By Lynn: what do users think?

Jeanetta Knight: Lynn is a very passionate artist and this comes thru to the way she teaches her students , what a great experience I had , 3

Rita Ayrton: I have had the opportunity to go to Lynn's lessons and learn the art of making dream catchers. I have made several with her help. Lynn is a marvolus teacher. I enjoy going to her Lynn it is a great time out and she is very eager to help you. I also get the opportunity to see what Lynn is working on. Anything you ask her for she will find. If she doesn't have it she will try and find it for you. I will continue to go to Lynn's classes.

Manisha Solomon: . Lynn shares over a decade of artistry with her students - providing insightful and knowledgeable guidance. Her studio is a space where creativity is encouraged.

Lynda Gazda: Lynn is a very talented and patient person. I have bought several pieces from her over the years. Particularly over Christmas. Love buying local and seeing the expressions on everyone's faces to having something so special and will last a lifetime.

Veronica Hachey: I decided to do a 4 week workshop with my mom as a great bonding experience . Lynn provided great fun and learning at the same time. The cost is amazing bc it includes instruction, materials and the tools. so there is no extra hidden costs. The work space is bright and inviting , she provides lots of help and is very patient. We will be taking more classes in the spring . We loved our projects we made and can't wait to show them off.

scrapper v: While searching on the computer, my daughter came upon a stain glass workshop on Facebook. Wanting to do a " Mother / Daughter project, we signed up. Being a 70+ , I don't learn as quickly as I used to, but Lynn made it easy. She helped us every step of the way.Her Patience was amazing . We picked out own glass choices and our own patterns. We both made several projects for ourselves and others to give as gifts. Lynn made our workshop fun and easy and informative.

Susan Mullins: I have been working with Light Catchers By Lynn for nearly a year now. She is one of the most innovative people I have ever been involved with. No matter the need so can meet it and goes over and above to please her customers. I cannot say enough about this woman and her talent...I will order from her for the rest of my life....her treasures will give love for years of being received by the person lucky enough to be chosen for them.....I KNOW I've found a gem for precious and perfect gifts....but I have also gained someone I know to be a friend....I hope someday to meet her in person.....

The Cotton Factory: what do users think?

Susan Kaplan: Highly recommend. Go!

Nadine Mend: Beautiful setup at the cotton factory. And even more beautiful musical arrangements, had a lovely time

Steeltown Salvage: The Cotton Factory is an Incredible facility of Culture all housed through out the building. It's a Community of Makers, Artisans and Artists and a perfect example of Area revitalization and Historical preseverance.

Miss Cathy: This space here at the cotton factory is so historic and perfect for wedding events for big anniversary dates to celebrate. The artwork from so many artists within the building is an absolute gem to roam the 3 floors and admire different pieces of photography, paintings, fine art drawings. It’s so incredible here. Love it more and more every time I visit. ❤️❤️❤️

Jesse Truman: We hosted our entire wedding event from start to finish at the cotton factory and we couldn’t have made a better decision. The entire building is so beautiful! We are beyond happy with everything and Cassandra went so above and beyond for us. Cassandra was there to help with literally anything we needed, we couldn’t imagine not having her skill set help guide us through this entire processes. Highly recommend 10/10.Thank you Cassandra & staff!- Jesse & Beverly

Leah Vanderende: Absolutely mesmerizing. We saw the Candlelight Hamilton: A Tribute to Taylor Swift and I was awestruck from the first note. Would definitely recommend for a unique and beautiful experience!

Jim O'Neill: Outstanding shared work space.

Jos Duijvestein: Great place for wedding. Friendly staff. Bathrooms could use a makeover

STOREonjames: what do users think?

Angie Armstrong: Lovely artisan store. Quality work. Will definitely be visiting again.

Amanda Veglia: Another Hamilton gem! After trying a few spots, the Store is now my go-to for high quality, all natural beeswax candles. They have excellent beeswax taper, pillar and jar candles.

Dan Jelly: I sell my products there so this 5-star review is a slight conflict of interest. That said, the pottery is lovely and I had nothing to do with it so you can trust that it's good. It's all local and hand made. The people are friendly and knowledgeable, the shop owner is a talented potter.

Michael Abrametz: Great place for pottery!

hansa Singh: Visited STORE for the first time and they have very unique and amazing pottery and books collection. If around the corner, do visit this store.

Brandon Church: The selection of books, pottery and other goodies is excellent and the owners are the kind of people you want to know/be friends with! Thank you for being everyone's friendly neighbour!

Michael Demone: A beautiful shop where every item is a work of art. Wonderful people too! Shop local and support local artists!

Ash Allsop: I've visited STORE on several occasions each time for a cup, I would highly recommend their cups and petting the dog that's occasionally there long and slow.

Jim Harvie: Engaging owner let me make a 5 minute transaction a pleasant 20 minutes. Looking for a quirky gift? Come to the store

Mark Woodley: Nice Store for the book lover and anyone looking for unique gift items featuring Hamilton city neighbourhood prints, Hamilton HSR and related city prints, jewelry, glass and of course handmade pottery. Practical & functional or just decorative ceramics available by local artists. Currently there is a striking piece of ceramic sculpture in their showroom. Prices vary depending on the item. Friendly staff whose expertise is in ceramic arts. Limited parking available in the surrounding area.

D Crawford: I hope this store is closed as I walk James St. Because when it is not, I hear those frivolous, shopping demons calling! A great store to indulge your pottery addiction! CW Pots knows my style! Not yet an addict? Go in and you'll know what I suffer from! Try and leave without purchasing! I dare you!

Art Gallery of Hamilton: what do users think?

Liam Good: I photographed Cori + Chris' wedding here recently and can't wait to return! The team went above and beyond to ensure my couple had an amazing time, and I enjoyed using aspects of the venue for creative portraits with the couple. As well, having Sheraton Hamilton across the street provided an efficient spot for getting ready photos followed by a short walk to the venue. Check out the AGH for your wedding day, and don't overlook the cool hallway lighting - great potential for creative wedding photographs if you lean into it!

Sweet November: First, I didn't realize it was in such a weird area... Downtown Hamilton, but entrance is in the alley or parking structure, with homeless people sleeping right by the walkway. Very bizarre and had a bad vibe.Parking was like $4 or so.But once you are in, the place is clean, open and very cool. We were able to tour a couple exhibits that were open. Mostly modern art, but had a few halls with 19th century paintings, which were of course great.Ticket prices are a bit high for what they offer; the museum is not big at all. However, we decided not to worry and just enjoy it. We did have a great time.

Hamilton Craft Studios: what do users think?

Anita Herrmann: What a fantastic place! I love the space and the people. A great place to be creative and explore new projects.

Myke Ames: Supplies and tools for almost any kind of activity you want to do. Staff are super helpful and kind.

Kyla Leslie: Wonderful Studio, super friendly and helpful instructors, had a blast at the workshop I took. Looking forward to my next visit!

Pascal Bennett: I had a fantastic experience at a Block Printing Workshop. Just awesome. So happy this is in Hamilton.

Rose Usenica: The environment is friendly and chill. The club experiences so far have been exactly the right mix of casual and crafty.

inez genereux: I took a class here in October and had one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. I was worried that since i had very little experience using the machines I would be out of my league. The class instructor Joe made myself and the rest of the class feel totally secure and empowered to to make our work. The facilities are absolutely beautiful and have a wonderful energy in them. Something Joe said in particular made me feel so confidant in what we were doing. He said it didn't matter how many questions we asked or how many times we had to ask them, and that us being new to something or having questions or making mistakes had nothing to do with our value as people, and that we were all valuable and brave for coming to a class and trying something we maybe hadn't done before. I can't express how much this meant to me and how it gave me the confidence to pursue wood working. I cannot wait to come back.

Gigi Gedney: and stations for artisans. Wonderful learning space and memberships available.

Robert Cash: Just finished the frame-making course with Joe and I have already signed up for more courses! Joe is a great and patient instructor, answering lots of questions and providing more context and details about what we were doing and why. Lots of leverageable lessons learned thanks to Joe. The space is fabulous and I learned a lot. I will be back for more!

L Ed: What a great introduction for me to some basic woodworking fundamentals in this weekend’s frame-making study [“A Proper Frame”]. I went in with no knowledge of how to make the frame, but came away with a good understanding, lots of hands-on time, as well as the frame that i made for the work i wanted to frame. I really value the way that the course was taught: straightforward, knowledgeable, attentive and approachable guidance from Joe, our instructor. I am looking forward to exploring more courses here, thank you for the course offering, it was excellent.

Brady Kemp: I took the Kitchenware course with Joe and had a blast! The instruction was great for all skill levels, and the shop environment couldn't be better. Overall, a great shop with great people, I have already booked my next class!

Milan Vukosavljevic: I'm just finishing off my first course at HCA, and it's been such a great experience. So much so, that I've already signed up for my second one. Joe has been an excellent instructor as he quickly alleviated any beginners anxiety I may have had and did a wonderful job introducing us to the many tools we used throughout the course. The space itself is also great. Lots of room to do ones work in. I can't recommend HCA enough.
