River City Yarns Online: what do users think?

Mal Morris: Thankyou Barb and Cynthia. Put my order in for scrummy yarn and was delivered in time as promised. Lovely yarn, Hat trick and Adam & Eve. Us some lovely progress keepers. I was kept updated all throught process, as live in New Zealand. Fantastic service, thankyou.

Shirley Eustache: I got to meet these 2 wonderful ladies in person at their yarn store....they helped me buy hat trick yarn in my fav hockey team ...

Catherine LeBlanc: and they have really cool classes and meetups via Zoom that really help me feel connected to a group of knitters all over the continent. Keep up the great work ladies!!!

Wendy Barrington: The people in this store have been working their fingers to the bone under all kinds of conditions. I admire their flexibility and how, in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, they were able to keep me inspired and sane. The yarn and accessories offered are fabulous...I've taken classes and seminars that aren't offered elsewhere. Their customer service is the best...this is my LYS and I live in New York.

Jen Mavro: fun, warm, and look effortless, but to be that good takes a lot of effort and innate talent! They also carry their own special lines of yarn that you can't find anywhere else. Highly recommend them for shopping or taking an online class - they are quick to respond and always willing to help.

Mary Anne Yurkiw: I've known this place for years, and during COVID they sparkled. We knitters always prefer touching and seeing yarns, but Barb & Cynthia were creative in coming up with options. And upfront in why they were making any changes. I value and respect these owners and their store.

Ericka Unterschultz: Great people, wonderful service, and beautiful product.

L/K Bannister: I can't recommend River City Yarns too highly - their selection and service are everything I could ask for and more. Friendly and expert they're a pleasure to deal with 😊

Jana Vana: dearly because of Covid. They stay in touch with us via podcasts, email and social media. They are brave and resourceful and I can’t wait to see them again!

Sarah Eady: . No question is ever so little or big. I look forward to coming in one day to shop in person. I can only imagine how wonderful the customer service is in store if its so wonderful online.

Renee Chapelle: I ordered yarn, and due to the way I had to pay for it, I had to order in two orders. I called the shop after placing, and left a messaging asking if they could ship them together, or if I needed to pay extra. I got an email a day later saying they were shipping everything together for me.This over and above the time spent with me on the phone by one of the lovely ladies as she helped me to choose a yarn that I would be happy with, since I couldn't go in to the shop and touch the yarns myself. My package arrived today, and I am ecstatic with my purchase.Great service, great products. I will definitely be back again.

Claire Desrochers: I needed help figuring out how to sew the collar onto my sweater; I called Cynthia who quickly set up a Zoom consult for me with Heather. Not only did Heather provide clear instructions and virtual coaching, she also provided a couple of instructional websites on seaming stitches I needed to learn. Sweater is finished thanks to you both!!!

Tetris Valleau: new things.

Lissa Davies: I recently went to RCY, not realizing that they were open only by appointment. I called into the store from my car, and Cynthia answered the phone. Despite helping to run an online workshop, she took the time to ask me what I was thinking of knitting and searched out different brands of wool that would fit my project. She then took my order over the phone and brought the wool out to my car. As always, exceptional service! 😊

Sandra Bitz: It's a wonderful place they are very friendly and helpful. Great place for wool and classes.

The Fibre Nook: what do users think?

Kathleen Rasmussen: Great variety of yarn, fiber, and notions. Will be back.

Candace Chwartacki: Hi! I contacted The Fibre Nook about learning how to crochet. Their response was quick and they hooked me up with a wonderful teacher named Paula. Paula is kind, funny, makes good conversation and is very patient as crocheting sometimes for myself is difficult. The price is fair for a session of crochet. I cannot speak to the materials in store as I am still learning but the staff are very kind and you can tell how much they enjoy knitting, crochet etc. I always look forward to coming here. I always leaving feeling more happier than i did before I arrived.

Heather Miller: Great selection of yarn, friendly and helpful service!

Denise Stanley: Great staff and fabulous selection for all your knitting or crocheting needs!

joe pokemon: Just love this store the staff are amazing. All that fiber in one place gives me joygasms. My sister and bought the same wool and knit up the hat they had on display. Loved every bit of it here's 2 photos 1 is her hat 1 is mine

Peter Boese: Wonderful customer service, good prices, homey feeling to the store. Wonderful place to get your yarn and needle felting supplies

Rowen McCormick: Lost yarn chicken last night so I zipped over here this morning. I got there a few minutes before they opened but the gentleman saw me outside and let me in. I was looking for a skein of Estelle Heather plum but they didn't seem to have any, and when he saw me scanning the wall he offered to help and went into the back to find some. I forgot to ask his name but he was super kind and helpful. I always enjoy coming by here.

Victor Oh: I’ve been here with my mom a few times and the guy who works there is awesome. He’s so helpful and knowledgeable. My mom loves his store and would leave a review but she doesn’t use the internet much. She prefers knitting with the wools she gets here. Keep up the terrific service you offer. All the best to you and your business.

Elizibeth Paterson: Great little store. Glad to see them busy!!

Wren Wesker: cozy lil store with a great selection for all sorts of fibre crafts. very excited to find needle felting supplies in the city!

Crochet and Knit with Feride Erbaşar: First visit Little Blue Fibre Studio. Such lovely yarns to choose from. I ended up buying Uneek Sock yarn.

Meaghann Royal: Fantastic fiber selection, reasonable pricing.

Julia Ross: Super cute shop that’s got tons of options for yarn or wool fiber if you’re interested in felting. Everyone who works here is super friendly and knowledgeable and if they can’t help they’ll point you in the direction of a store/video/website that can!

Janice Moore: First visit at the Little Blue Fibre Studio and it did not disappoint. I loved the huge selection of sock yarns, roving and rustic yarns from Briggs and Little. Kim is super accommodating. If you email her about a specific yarn, she'll try her best to bring it in for you. The Studio has a cute, kid friendly play area at the front for those shopping with little ones as well!

Meagan Gebers: This is an Edmonton Gem! Worth the drive even if you don't live in the area! Great selection for all budgets, helpful staff and classes to get you going on all sorts of yarn crafts! Highly recommend!

Mary: , and they were so helpful in picking out the perfect yarns!!! We are lucky to have this little shop in our neighbourhood. I try to live by "buy local'.

Genelle R: The best store you can go and buy suppiles! Good quality supplies and amazing workers!!! They are bright and full of energy! Also very helpful as well!

Jenna Beattie: I absolutely love little blue fibre studio the owner is an amazing woman who offers so much help when you walk in the store. I will never go anywhere else for my crochet needs!!

Susan Speichert: Excellent customer service. I love to pet the wool especially the beautiful rovings.

Shawn Roth: A wonderful little shop. Very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Would recommend over and over again.

Beth deVries: There are so many positives to share about this wonderful store! I am not experienced with fibre arts but curiousity drew me to venture in. From my first encounter I found Kim the owner to be very welcoming and I felt encouraged to try out a felting kit. Next I participated in one of her needle punch classes which was well organized, and gratifying. I was set up for success to be able to complete a lovely project and learn a new skill. Kim's expertise and infectious enthusiasm facilitated a wonderful experience. Next I ventured into a project of my own, benefitting tremendously from Kim's guidance and encouragement. She clearly has a passion for the fibre arts that she loves to share with others. Kim went above and beyond to help me create a project that I am proud of. I would highly recommend Little Blue Fibre Studio to both experienced and inexperienced fibre artists who are looking for friendly, expert service and a variety of wonderful materials. Check out their website for new products and class offerings.

Lisa Marie: The owner, Kim, is an absolute gem. She's so helpful in finding you any products you're interested in and helped me register for a beginner's knitting course. I love this studio!

Michelle Lynn Howell: Lady was so helpful and so sweet very nice place

Kelley Hill: This is a fantastic store. There are so many OPTIONS of fibre for spinning and felting as well as beautiful yarns and tools. The staff is super friendly and helpful. This is my go-to spot for all my fibre needs!

Holly Hollems: What a hidden gem!Not only is it a locally-owned store, but it sells primarily natural and sustainable yarns many of which are Canadian. That alone would be reason to love it, but the prices are better than I see at the big box stores! Even their needles are about the same price, which I didn't expect at all. There's nothing as nice as being able to shop local without breaking the bank, so this store is more than worth making a trip for!
