This is a beautiful and excellently made chess table. Very easy to assemble and the packaging it came in ensured it arrived safely (fitted wooden shipping crate, each part of the table wrapped in layers of bubble wrap). It fits together perfectly, everything is well finished and it looks even better in person than on pictures, especially the beautiful birds eye maple squares and outline around the board. It's really a sight to behold. Everything about this item exceeded my expectations. I hope to use this table for years to come for playing and studying chess!!


The coffee table was shipped the next day after the order was placed. It was the most carefully packaged product I've ever had shipped to me arriving in a fitted wooden shipping crate with each component separately wrapped and protected. The addition of the chess squares only knocks it out of the ball park. The legs are very easy to attach and very sturdy. They are tapered beautifully. The wood is well-finished and natural. Mike has excelled in making such a beautiful object.
