Daniel talked to me about the benefits of kickboxing, and what I was looking for from this type of training. He explained the warm-up and cool down/stretching exercises and why they are beneficial and how they fit in. He took the time to reshow me, and breakdown the movements when I asked, and forgot. He never once made me feel like a failure or like I embarrassed myself. He is friendly, very knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. The energy and excitement he gives makes for an amazing class!!!My class was based out of F.R.E.E Fitness, such a great new gym, easy to find, lots of parking, great hours and staff. Lots of equipment, and so many different services offered. Very very clean and well lit, great set up and friendly members. I’ve worked out in different gyms, but when I walked into F.R.E.E Fitness, it felt like “home”, a great atmosphere and great gym!!!!!

The class is well organized and she is able to individualize the exercises for each participant based on their level or limitations. Micaela is friendly, professional and has a high level of expertise which was important to me. So happy with the results I’m seeing and feeling!

Mica is a dedicated trainer whi meets everyone wherever they are at and pushes them as far as they want to go. She doesn't judge, she supports. From giving you the music or encouragement you need in a session to working towards your true reasons for being there. She is not getting you fit but making you a stronger person. And I promise you will be, mentally and physically through working with her. On top of all that, she's the ral deal. She knows her way around a gym and your boddy. She's safe, she's smart, and super skilled and experienced. When she left Kingston it was a big loss to her clients here. Edmonton you should sign up.

I don’t agree with this as I have been a member of HDF for 5 years or more. The lady’s are always friendly with their clients and anyone who walks through the door. They have very successful clients and all I can say is that you pay for what you get, as it is only the BEST from them. Both hubby and I are satisfied with the training and diet given to us. We feel the prices are justifiable.I just don’t think it’s fair how you would try to demean this business when it’s undeserving of that. I know many people who are satisfied with this company and it has a good reputation in Edmonton for dieting clients, everyday life and for competitive fitness shows.

They make sure your individual needs are met and don't just give you a random plan like the other gyms. This is also the most cleanest gym I have ever been in. Kristine Mathisen: When I walked into High Definition Fitness I had hit a plateau. I was in decent shape but no longer could get my body to a higher level of fitness. I went to a trainer every day for one year prior to HDF. Just your regular run of the mill mega chain gym. What I didn’t know was that the whole time I’d been training I was doing all the exercises wrong. Daphne Madgin from HDF pointed these issues out to me. Within a week I was already seeing different gains in my body. To a point where I now am able to compete. Daphne and Helen give so much of themselves to every and any individual that walk through the door. There really is nothing to my experience and knowledge that comes even close. Not only have I found my gym but I expanded my family. Love these women more than words can say.Thank you Daphne and Helen and the High Definition Fitness gang.

Nabeel Jessani: Helen & Daphne are some of the most honest, knowledgable, straight-up trainers in the city. Fitness is a high failure industry but if you have the desire to get in shape-these girls wont steer you wrong. I feel like often individuals fall of track and blame their trainers and support system. These girls wont take your bogus excuses, but will instead put you right back on track with straight facts. I've had plenty of GREAT sessions with both Daphne & Helen. These girls will not only be your coaches and trainers but if you treat them with respect they will treat you like a friend. Throw in a global pandemic and both my physical and mental states were at an all time low.I started seeing Cotie in October 2022 because I wanted to take back control of my health. Over the past 8 months, Cotie has helped me feel comfortable in a gym setting, where I never felt like I quite fit in before. When I thought of the typical “bro” environment of a gym, I found that intimidating as a gay man. But from the get-go, Cotie fostered a welcome and inclusive approach to working out.Attentive & friendly, motivating but still supportive, there aren’t enough good things I can say about Cotie. He genuinely cares about your fitness goals and encourages you to work towards them in a catered, personal way.Now I look FORWARD to going to the gym and have gained a newfound sense of confidence I never before thought possible. Am I a gym bro now? Maybe. But I’ve also learned that maybe that’s not so bad - the gym is for everybody.If you have any hesitations or fears about working out, Cotie is the best guy to help you through them. Alex Liew: I have never been comfortable in a gym environment and have not managed to be consistent - that is, until I discovered Cotie on Instagram. After reading over his website, I thought he'd be a good fit to try out personal training and try to overcome this major hurdle. Cotie is very knowledgeable and was able to tailor my programs extremely well to my needs and goals. I have a couple workplace RSI injuries, whiplash from a car accident a year ago, and old sports injuries in my knee and hips. I deal with chronic pain every day. Along with these issues, I wanted to lose weight and build up strength and stamina to prevent further injuries. Jill K.: I have been training twice a week with Nicole and Len for the last year and a half, and it's been fantastic!I was going to the gym before the pandemic, and then decided that a smaller venue would be better - fewer people, quieter, and easier to focus. I wish I'd done this years ago! Nicole and Len are both supportive and challenging, and I am very confident in their abilities as trainers. It's great seeing both of them during the week as they each have their own style of training and I appreciate the variety.I feel comfortable with them both and I know I am in good hands. I was experiencing injuries when I was training at a gym. I have not been injured once since joining Breathe Fitness - it really helps to be trained by people who know what they are doing! And the fact that they are great people is just icing on the cake.

Comfortable, clean, well-lit and conveniently located just south of the eastern part of Whyte Avenue, in easy reach of public transport and with plenty of parking available. Evolve Strength North: what do users think?

kdawgmaster: I will support all the evolve locations. The north end, compared to the south, is very similar, just with some mild changes. Theblonger turf, something i didn't end up using during my week of use, looked like it was an awesome spot for a person to really push themselves with sled pushes and such. It appeared to be about double, maybe a little more, compared to the Edm south location.The gyms atmosphere is INSANELY inviting, and one of the things i like about Evolve is the lack of mirrors. Mirrors are distracting, and often, when used, can cause people to break form as they try to inspect themselves doing the exercise.Even though i was a member and informed the staff that this was my first time there, they still did a walk through with me, thus making the experience universal, which is great.Keep up the good work, everyone!!

Fernando Sacluti: I walked in to the facility for the first time and got a good tour from Matt. He showed me all the important things about this place and I’m getting eager to come workout. It’s a “no frills” gym for the most part, for those serious about staying fit. The assortment of free weights and bands are good. I’m not worried about waiting long times for equipment to be available as there is a lot of stuff.
