Anamika Arora: This doctors and staff at this clinic are absolutely wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Robinson and her staff. Dr. Robinson recently performed my hysterectomy. She always kind, caring, professional and took time to listen to my concerns. I would call when having issues and the staff would always call back with a response from the doctor within a few hours. Carmen, at the front end was absolutely wonderful. She always made me feel like any issues I was having with my medical condition was of the utmost importance. My surgery with Dr. Robinson went so smoothly and she visited me the next day in the hospital which I really appreciated. She cares about her patients and it shows. Dr. Robinson gave me my life back and I am so thankful to her and her staff. I highly recommend Dr. Robinson and her staff.

The secretary was bubbly and pleasant... very kind. Surgery was top notch...the Doctor and his team were fantastic. My surgery wait time was very short. I absolutely recommend this clinic. I really feel I was a priority as a patient.
Julie Wuis: Today I met with Dr. Kruger for the first time through a referral from an ER physician. I had to write this review because I am a nurse myself and have met many doctors in my career. Dr. Kruger is by far one of the best doctors I have ever met in my life. His compassion and level of care is outstanding. I came in with issues that are not typically seen in my age group. He was able to explain everything to me in detail and reassure me that he could help with my situation. After meeting Dr.Kruger, I truly feel blessed. I was lucky enough for him to take me on as a patient and I am forever thankful. He is giving me my life back. sydney h: which made me quite out of it. a few minutes later the doctor came in to do the procedure and to be honest i don’t really remember it. the doctor does give u local anesthesia, which is an injection to your cervix and i remember jumping a bit for that as it stung a bit but that’s about all i remember.

Jessica D: I never leave reviews but had such a positive experience here that I had to. I had an IUD removal under sedation here and cannot recommend this clinic enough. My previous experiences with IUD insertion/removal have been excruciatingly painful - they made it significantly more comfortable. Every staff member was so kind and helpful. And instead of those thin paper sheets, they give you soft fluffy blankets to cover up your bottom half with. If you have difficulty with IUD procedures, definitely give them a call - they were wonderful.

And they were all super supportive. Even when there was a struggle finding a vein for an iv. It was wonderful not to be lectured and I even got to vent of my frustrations of what I was going through. Navkiran Ubhi: Dr. Pelinska did hysterectomy surgery and she did a great job. I had some complications after the surgery. She explained everything in detail. Dr. Pelinska took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly, listened to all my concerns and left me feeling worry free. Her staff in the office is good, but the hospital staff was so caring and loving. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend others to her.

I had a bad experience at a diffrent clinic and I let her know, she was very understanding and explained everything so i understood. Deepa Ojha K: I’m so grateful for this clinic. Dr. Galdon & Gorgie are amazing and so supportive. I had complications for my first pregnancy and when I got pregnant again I was freaking out but Dr.Galdon took all the precautions and I felt calm. We have two healthy babies now. They were also caring about my mental health. I took steps I would never have, if it wasn’t for them so I’m very thankful.

Leane Green: I see dr brassard and he has been a life saver for me. I have endometriosis and it is a horrible thing to live with. He listens to all my issues regarding it and has helped incredibly to reduce pain. When he did my surgery he seen i was nervous and came over and asked which music I would like to listen to and even held my hand till I fell asleep. He has gone above and beyond to help me find alternatives to future surgeries and help with my pain. He even showed me pics from my surgery of things he found and explained everything. I have never had to wait for him and his staff are always so nice, even to my little kids who I have had to bring a few times. He is always polite and his bed side manners are great. I would recommend him to everyone. I have an appointment with him to today and I am actually looking forward to talking with him. Can't say that about other drs I have dealt with. Thank you dr brassard for everything.

Kat L: I’m surprised at all the negative reviews not saying they aren’t valid but I had a great experience visiting today. Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor was great. Especially the doctor, I absolutely love her and now actually have hope that my issues will be resolved!
Edil Gure: I’m honestly so shocked by the reviews of this clinic. The receptionists have always gone above and beyond for me starting from my earliest days of pregnancy and getting me in early because of my high risk pregnancy. Every single time I’ve had a question they would honestly do their best to answer or get one of the doctors to call me urgently even if my doctor wasn’t working. They’ve always taken my concerns serious and guided me on what to do with the utmost patience and respect. The receptionists, nurses, doctors and all staff have literally treated me with the nothing but kindness and respect and I feel ever so heard during such a hard pregnancy.Don’t get me started on my amazing doctors, Dr . JanMohamed is so kind, patient and informative. He will always validate how you feel and will never rush you even if you have a million questions. Dr. Hirt- Walsh is a god sent of a doctor and I am ever so grateful to be her patient. She’s kind, very attentive and knowledgeable, will answer all your questions and will put you at ease with every visit. Both doctors are honestly the very best you’ll ever find.

Leah Klingbeil: Dr. Du Toit is good - incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and direct in her answers. She doesn't makes you feel judged about questions throughout your pregnancy, but was quite pushy about induction once I reached my due date which I did not appreciate considering there was no medical need and I went into labour naturally just fine. Clinic seems to be run efficiently and the wait for booked appointments very reasonable. Paying for parking each time isn't ideal - it would be nice if they covered it the way MIC does in the same building - but that's minor.
Megan N: Dr Simone is easily one of the best doctors I’ve ever gone to in my life. Good bedside manner, doesn’t rush appointments and genuinely cares about all her patients. It can often be difficult to reach them via phone but not impossible. I definitely recommend this clinic.

I wish I had gotten the nurses names, so I could thank them.Only complaint is probably the wait times, both in clinic and on hold, but it's not too bad.
Jade Reiter: I’ve been coming to the Birth Control Centre for the last 4 years. Majority of the staff are so super sweet and really go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and have all of your questions answered. I’ve only had two or three unpleasant experiences with a nurse or a doctor in the whole time I’ve visited the clinic, but I don’t think those experiences are an accurate representation of the clinic as a whole.I recently had my IUD inserted by Dr.Siu. She was amazing throughout the process, even though I was having a difficult time with it. Can’t recommend her enough. Today I saw Dr. Whalen-Browne for a follow up and she was so kind and caring towards me. She answered all of my questions no matter how small and never once made me feel like I was wasting her time or asking stupid questions. I really appreciate the great care I received from her today. I was so afraid to have any sort of pelvic exam done, but she made the experience much easier and less scary for me.And last but definitely not least, Nurse Barb! Barb is by far the best nurse I’ve ever seen not only at the clinic, but anywhere. She really goes above and beyond to take care of you, and help you with any problem you’re having whether it be medical or just life stuff. She’s extremely personable and she really shows that she cares. When I talk with Barb, I feel like I’m talking to a motherly figure. If it weren’t for covid, I’d be giving her the biggest hugs. You’re the best, Barb! Thank you for everything.Finally, thank you to all of the staff at the Birth Control Centre for everything that you do! I don’t want to go anywhere else for my *lady needs*.
Kim Huynh: I have struggled to find good Healthcare practitioners. I received what I consider to be my first great experience at this clinic! Staff were helpful both by phone and when I did a walk in. And could relate to me as a person instead of only as a random client. We got as much as possible addressed on the same day. Received a ton of useful advice and consultation RE: my IUD options and insertion as well as other concerns. And got some extra useful attention from the doctor I had. Very happy. nicolette: Dr Motan took His role seriously with a side of humour to lighten the most stressful times in my fertility journey , and I’m so glad because I didn’t want to leave crying at every appointment like I had previously done with other drs . He was caring and professional and would highly recommend to others going through a rough fertility go. We have conceived naturally after 5 long years of trying with some aid from this specialist.

Grateful for their help with finding a doctor, clothing, classes and life skills that not only prepared me for motherhood but life in a new city as well. Gale Songco: I was a first time mom I did not know where to go or what to do. I found Gianna Centre and they helped me out to get a doctor, doula and all the baby stuff I needed including an almost brand new baby swing! They were a blessing to me! Everybody was so helpful and even offered to deliver things to me as sometimes I do not have a vehicle even though I live on the different side of Edmonton. Also they had lots of give aways of diaper which really helped me.

I have learned everything from money management, to cooking classes, knitting, Indigenous beading, parenting classes, enfant CPR, gardening, discovering your dignity class, counseling, and how to run my own business through creating a market with the other Mom's. We sell our own handmade products like bath bombs, new and gently used baby clothes, handmade soups, farm fresh veggies, free run eggs, amongst many other items. After my Mom passed away I wasn't sure how I would manage everything. I love spending time here, having child mining available so I can learn new skills. Support through grieving my family members who have gone home to be with the Lord. I would recommend the Gianna Centre to any Mom's who are pregnant, or facing an unplanned pregnancy. Before you make any decisions know that you are not alone as you may feel, there are places like this where you can find resources and support for your decisions when dealing with an unplanned pregnancy. Thank you Gianna Centre for the kindness and support you have shown me during and after my pregnancy and for being such amazing role models to myself and my daughter. ❤
